They are all nimbys, it's no coincidence. They mostly only cared about 'losing their right to live and work in Europe' due to Brexit as they were the only ones doing it! How many working class people were taking gap years in France or moving to Portugal for a few years before then returning? Its the privileged telling the unprivileged that they must deal with the consequences of virtue signalling. It would be interesting to see if they shared the same views, if they were living in areas transformed over night by mass immigration, fighting for doctors appointments and housing with people who have not long arrived in the country. The sad reality is that it all worked well before poorer countries starting joining the EU and (fair enough) wanted to move to the richer countries instead. I work in local government.... we have at least two managers with carbon in their title, on £50k a year. That and loads of stuff going on about diversity. It is a great way for senior management to deflect from the poor services and their incompetence.

I've been trying to get back into work for 6 months. Had no luck. My mate an IT expert was brutal to me and this is what he said. Your are white. No change. I have to design programs for applications to target minorities especially black people. Your profiling 100% guaranteed goes in the bin without ever being seen. Asked him if it bothered him. He said no. He employs 20 people. If they ask him to give priority to one legged lesbians that's what he'll do.... He has staff to pay.

An obsession with diversity is ultimately unproductive and can be downright dangerous. The corporate world are now vigorously pursuing it above all else including merit and, most importantly, safety. British Airways have just announced a recruitment drive for black pilots. Ditto the RAF who openly stated that they did not need any more of those 'useless white pilots'. See the Atlas Air flight 3591 crash in 2019 where the first officer, a diversity hire who was allowed to fly actual aircraft despite dismal performances in simulator training, made a multitude of errors under pressure and crashed the aircraft.

I can tell you a funny story about that. I was a property manager for an office building with a different company on each floor and a service charge levied for common areas. I queried why I was having to ask these companies to pay their share of the bill for condom machines in the toilets! What are they doing when they are supposed to be working, I thought? It turns out that the same machines are used to dispense tampons and condoms and the billing is computerised and therefore cannot be changed!

Somebody needs to explain to me why diversity is such a good thing, for decades we've been told that it just 'is' much in the same way that our mothers used to tell us 'because'. Diversity in nature means weakness, in geological terms diverse rocks equals potential landslide and a diverse landscape means that there is much competition. What exactly is wrong with homogeneity? Why should I be horrified at the thought of living in a neighbourhood filled with people who look act and talk just like me? We do now live in a diverse UK and it's sodding awful, I need someone to come along, sit me down and explain its benefits because for the life of me I can't think of any..

I used to work in newspapers and we had to set jobs and we loved the Tuesday Civil Service jobs where we would see who would get the best non-jobs to set in terms of complete and utter bollocks and wasting taxpayers money. One week I got to set an advert for wait for it .... Lesbian Outreach coordinator . The best bit. Even the blurb was complete nonsense. None could figure out what the advert was for..... it became the Rosetta Stone of the office for months......

I've just had an NHS procedure postponed due to 'staff sickness'. I have had nearly all of the NHS appointments I have been offered in the last year changed. You can just about guarantee that the first appointment you will be offered will be changed, for various reasons, usually staff shortages, at least once, if not twice.

Genders studies graduate? They give awards for doing a course that only needs one five minute lecture, and that includes the introductions. The entire course involves saying there are three genders but only two that refer to humans, male and female. Having sent all these no hopers to university to “study” for Mickey Mouse degrees they have to be given jobs hence all these non-jobs proliferating in public services I.e NHS, Civil Services. My friend who was a nurse and has recently given up in despair said that when she started at the local hospital she had one manager and by the time she left she had eight and these eight spent their time on courses and then wreaked havoc when they were in the hospital insisting that she attend meetings listening to what they had learned instead of getting on with her job of nursing. And they all earned far more than she did.
