My grandson works in construction, and he is teaching his adorable petite daughter, almost three years old, the names of different tools, not like the general hammer and screwdriver, but the names of tools that most people don’t know! I see it up as good bonding between father and daughter!

That's so lovely. Brought back memories of my Dad and I in his workshop building. My Mum was always dressing me in frills and flounces so I'd be there frills and all up to my ears in sawdust and tools. Best memories and a great life skill because now I can use power tools and do the basic DIY chores. I might be a granny but I'm a handy granny. Lol 😂❤

Put a dot on the big toe side of each boot such that the dots kiss when the boots/shoes are on the correct feet. Kissing dots help your child put their shoes on the correct feet without having to intervene.

When we built our house my husband mentioned dreading drywall for months. We had to travel for two weeks just before drywall time, so I asked my contractor to find a subcontractor for drywall and I paid for it. My husband looked inside the house when we came home and came out stunned. He has mentioned “best present ever” many times since.

19:26 yeah, wet sanding is less messy. You need a bucket to rinse and moisten the rag (I prefer a white t-shirt). Once you get the hang of it, you'll enjoy it 😉

Years ago after my husband (he's my ex now) and I did a complete renovation to a cabin, a teardown to the studs, the drywall work was my least favorite thing, it seemed to take forever too. Our brother-in-law remodeled their home shortly after we completed our cabin. He used the sponge method on his drywall work and it looked so so great. I felt really stupid about all of the weeks we'd spent in our cabin with sanders and sanding blocks. I hope the sponge method works out well for you. My brother-in-law was a mechanic not anyone in the building trade and he did a great job in his home.

Wet sanding is much better than dry. When we owned our rowhome , did all work ourselves , that's how we did it. Now we are older and live in an apartment 😢 . Miss having my own home.

FROG EYES ~ The pasta is called Ancini de Pepe, tiny round pastas. I use this pasta when I make Italian Wedding Soup. The frog eye salad recipe can be found on some packages of ancini de pepe. This pasta is slightly larger than Pastina pasta. Thank you for your video and Trent’s singing.

Love seeing Leo's great development, verbal, small motor and large motor skills. I've noticed he's also very affectionate and seeing his personality showing is absolutely adorable. As a building contractor, my drywallers most always did wet finishing but are now all doing vacuum orbital sanding with festool Planex 2's. Practically dust free sanding and really fast and impressive. Quality and Pricey but you can easily resell the system to a drywaller when you finish your addition.

My husband was in construction with his brother, who was the contractor. His other brother worked with them til he joined the Army. This adventure with y'all reminds me so much of the blood, sweat, and tears that construction is. Y'all are doing a great job, even with hick ups. I have been a sub. Since van life ! I have been a contractor for 47 yrs . And hung drywall with my father and uncles for 16 yrs - 6 days a week until I smarted up and started building the homes and having others do the drywall! So watching you guys has been a blast ! Joe
