The Congregation of the Fathers of Mercy, which was founded in 1808, originally under the title of “The Missionaries of France.” The community was founded for the purpose of re-evangelizing the people of France after the Catholic Faith had been subjected to years of attacks and persecution during the French Revolution. It is now exclusively an American community. The Generalate of the Congregation is located in Auburn, Kentucky. The primary apostolate of the Fathers of Mercy is to conduct parish missions and retreats throughout the United States and other countries when called upon. The Congregation also staffs rural parishes in the Archdiocese of Louisville, Kentucky.

I'm not a Christian or even religious, but I feel this message deeply. I've been reading the Bible recently since I never did growing up. I think I'm still far from becoming a believer but I'm going to explore Christianity to its fullest. I see so much evil in the world and I see so much good in the church. I've always lived my life seeking truth no matter the cost. If there is truth in Christianity I have faith it will win me over in my exploration of it.

Excellent sermon Father ! The oddity for me is I accidentally found a sermon just like yours by a priest whose name is Fr. Mark Beard who spoke about " being on the fence" Unfortunately and recently Father died in a horrific auto accident and he was well loved but maybe not by his superiors . I happen to think there some hanky panky behind this accident because every time a courageous priest speaks he seems to disappear in one way or another .

Physical attendance of mass has decreased unfortunately but perhaps people turned online to hear mass instead. In addition, there are more non-Catholics joining the church through Catholic teachings on youtube, facebook, podcasts and vimeos etc. But nothing compares to physically encountering and receiving Christ during Mass.

My life story is so extraordinary, unique, tragic yet beautiful, filled with supernatural experiences and mystical gifts, my grandmother said she witnessed a bit of this from age 10 months old. When I was three years old my grandmother told me that Mary Louise was not my real mother and that the Blessed Mother, Mary, the mother of Jesus, was my real mother and that I belonged to her. I was educated in parochial school. I suffered suicidal ideation from age 4 to age 50. At the age of 50 i had a mystical experience that healed me of all suicidal ideation, my major depressive disorder, I was left with my anxiety problem however. Anyway from the day of that experience I pray the rosary everyday. I finally made it to confession at age 5 4 and after that I started going back to mass at age 55. I can honestly finally say that I am a devout practicing Catholic (who understands what it means to be Catholic). In my first confession coming back to the church after 25 years, at the end father asked me what brought me back (it was a horrid confession, positively horrid and his exact words were "may I ask you a personal question? What possibly was it that brought you back to the church so suddenly"? (A person who had crossed the line into darkness the way I had, quite frankly never makes it back. It's usually ends with what is called the 8th commandment). What I answered him he informed me that I had experience to the illumination of Conscience. I don't speak on my life for even this experience much however I will say, it was so incredibly powerful and moving that when it was over I sobbed for hours and hours in true sorrow and repentance for my sins and a newfound love for God I had never comprehended before. I had the notion to pray a rosary so I did, the rosary was the only thing that could stop my tears that day. The experience is terrifying however the gifts that are obtained are many and powerful. Quite frankly it saved my life! My REAL life! My eternal salvation! I had been headed straight to hell! Long live Christ the King! Mary wears combat boots! Amen! ALLEUIA!

The Tridentine parish I used to belong to had around 500 parishioners. On Sunday that church was packed standing room only. The pastor hears confessions everyday for an hour or 90 minutes before he celebrated mass without fail. So many of the clergy aren’t even up to a third of their profession in I would say most of the churches in the United States.

This Priest is one of our few Remnant faithful to God Good Shepherds. God Bless and protect him. So many people are lost, Pray the Rosary daily for their coinversions and for our final perseverance. We must be willing to die rather than deny Our Lord and lose our eternity with God. Scripture tells us that in the end Man will no longer tolerate sound Doctrine. "When the Son of Man Returns, Will He find anyone left with Faith?" Guard your salvation with fear and trembling. The Warning or Illumination of Conscience is the only way God can save many of those who are Godless.
