In my home country of NIGERIA, 94% of Catholics go to mass every Sunday, even in parts of the country where the faithful take their lives in their very hands just to attend mass because of the risk of Boko Haram terrorist attacks. Father the Church is growing in parts of the world ❤️💐🎊🙋🏽♂️

Fellow Nigerian 🇳🇬, 94% is really high. I feel it's a lot less. But your point of attendance in the face of adversity is true.

@@CharlesOkwuagwu See EWTN UK. Where is mass attendance highest? One country is the clear leader; 29 January 2023. Well, as a fellow countryman, you know as well as I do how hyper-religious Nigerians are.

Because in countries where people aren’t brainwashed by this world they lean more on God for a peace of mind. The west especially here in America they rely on the world for a peace of mind like alcohol drugs sex entertainment. The devils playground.

This sermon just wrapped up the meaning of living a seemingly failed life for nearly 77 years. The triumph belongs to Jesus Christ in the Whole Sacrifice of the Mass with the Holy Trinity.

Father you mention about the people in Wisconsin not attending mass because they are attending a Packer game. It might interest you to know that the great Packer Vince Lombardi was a true man of faith in the Lord and in the Catholic Church He attended mass daily and even served as an altar server on many occasions. He once said “never pray for victory but for the will of God” He did the rosary often and participated in the sacrament of confession weekly. He attended parish functions throughout the year. If I was a priest I would give a homily about his Catholic faith on Super Bowl Sunday to help football fans remember that faith and hope in God is more important than the game itself.

Father. I sadly believe that our faith in the Eucharist is dropping because of our church leadership. The fact that we receive the Eucharist in the hand, standing up started this decline. This sort of laid back cafeteria design is in my opinion shameful. Add to that, the fact that the church continues to give no disapproval to our Government leaders who receive the sacraments and promote abortion. God demands respect. We have to start giving it.

Communion in the hand and standing up was the norm up until the ninth century. Source: - God is Near Us by Joseph Cardinal Ratzinger (Pope Benedict XVI)

@@james-ninobut the issue at hand is that the Eucharist is being stolen for desecration purposes. That’s the main issue at hand. It has given an easy access to those who want to use it for their own purposes or satanic rituals. We’ve found hosts thrown out in the garden at my Parish. May people now have to stand by to make sure the person consumes the host of not then it can get confrontational and I’ve seen it get confrontational. Why can’t we just receive Christ mandatory by mouth not by hand? What’s so hard about that? Just bring back the paten and make it mandatory by mouth due to the increase in people taking the host home. As far as dropping the host,I’ve had several times where I accidentally dropped the host but I sure wish there was a paten underneath my chin. That’s no longer in practice. And this is the body of Christ so you would think we treat the host as such.

@@james-ninostanding up or kneeling that should always be an option but on the hand needs to end. Look and see at what happened in Saint Cloud Fl at St Thomas of Aquinas Church. The lady was denied communion and she came back a second time around trying to grab it from the priests hands that she then enraged put her hand into the ciborium and began to crunch the hosts. I’ve seen people take the host and immediately run out the Church. Satanists pay big bucks to have hosts brought to them.

It is all about God: For it is written, “thou shalt worship no other god: for the Lord, whose name is Jealous, is a jealous God” (Exodus 34:14). Jesus came honoring his Father. He came to appease the wrath of God so that we might be saved. He came doing the commands of the Father and to finish His work (John 4:34). Nowhere is it written where Jesus took time out from God. Everything Jesus did was for the Father’s glory: At the wedding, Jesus turned water to wine so they may see the Father’s power and glory work through him. In John 11:38, Jesus lifted up his eyes to the Father, thanking Him for always hearing him. Then, with God’s power in him, Jesus cried “Lazarus, come forth.” Every thought, word, and deed Jesus did was for the glory of the Father. It was the power and spirit of God that possesses Jesus. Those who seek their own glory will never enter the Father’s kingdom.

Imagine, Jesus teaching, what was his time limit? Lol! No one questioned it. Those bored well, they left, and they were not of HIM. Those who stayed, they did not care the clock, the sun or moon. We have no idea now in 2024! Some short yes, some medium yes, and probably plenty “long” yes! Jesus knew the people and gauged, but never forfeited the gospel. Don’t people understand that the long teachings are of gold and pearls??!! Compared to the short teachings that lead to ETERNAL FIRE?! I’m a Protestant (still learning & learning), when I go to Saturday Mass, I am AMAZED. I am Protestant and recognize it! Beauty! I love the length, the words upon words of holiness. I don’t want it to be about me, and short concerts. I just want Jesus and Holiness. I don’t want the world. I don’t want the “woke”, the world! I just want the Holy Triune God period. Edit: to say immediately after this, I LOVE my Catholic brothers & sisters in our Holy Triune God! I’m not attacking this dear one or others of the faith… ❤ I’m just sharing thoughts and grievances. KEEP THE FAITH. Jesus is real, the Holy Bible is real.
