One of the things I loved last year is how good Booker was about getting shots within the flow of the game. He hunted shots without forcing them. This year it feels like he's forcing everything. Certainly Minnesota and McDaniels has *a lot* to do with that but I just hate how Phoenix is running their offense Minnesota is just too good if they are set. None of Beal, Booker or Durant have the physical advantage against Jaden, Ant or NAW. Even attacking drop against Conley-Rudy is difficult because of Gobert's length and the size and athleticism of the guys in help. Especially without a lob threat who can force Rudy to play back a step. They need to run a lot more double actions -- i.e. running an off ball action while attacking on the strongside to occupy the help -- and a lot more off ball actions. Make Ant, Jaden and NAW run into Nurkic over and over and over. Make the help defenders turn their head. For the love of God stop attacking Gobert in drop. If they want to put KAT on KD then make him navigate screens. And Booker needs to be comfortable making the next play; attack to extend and advantage or create one and not to score. But Minnesota is really good on defense. To bad for them that Nikola Jokic exists.

Yea the Wolves starting 5 outside of Mike connelly. Each have above a 7 ft wingspan and they are super athletic. They can match up against every offense. There is a reason they were the best defense in the NBA.

I don't think he actually did. Teams and players game the team listings all the time. Naz has lost a ton of weight and they haven't updated his numbers at all. What probably happened was a bunch of guys who game their height realized they were really right about Jaden's height and other guys who claimed to be 6'9 looked a whole lot more like 6'6" standing next to Jaden. so the word was sent out.

If devin booker doesn't develop a better handle i fear when he loses a step, he'll struggle mightily. When he's not able to get as much lift to rise up over defenders he'll need moves to create space , and not just bumping defender back.
