@mrdocena8082 Жыл бұрын
@@geminisfl Not too surprising. 1-2 Switch is a generic party game - it's for everyone. ARMS is a fighting genre... a much smaller audience, no matter how big the FGC gets. Now add in the fact that ARMS is a NON-TRADITIONAL fighting genre - and the FGC is extremely hostile towards any Non-Traditional Fighting game. Worst off: ARMS was more advertised towards the FGC, rather than towards casual players (such as the casual playerbase of Smash Bros) - who would have certainly enjoyed the game far more. If anything, it shows how well ARMS did considering how rigged-to-fail it was... Meanwhile, 1-2 Switch failed (3.6 million is small for a 1st party early-console title) despite everything being advertised properly for it, towards their proper audiences. ... I actually enjoyed 1-2 Switch. Would play it weekly. But I do know how poor it was to actually SELL that game at full price - rather than a discount game or a free game with the console.

Questions you never answered (and sorry if you did and I missed them) Do you need to install an app on your phone for those games or is it played through a browser? If an app, does that come from the Switch (like Mario Kart DS did) or from your phone’s app store? Either way, how long does it take to get everyone ready? I’m thinking this might be a fun for a Christmas or New Year party when you’ve got a bunch of friends round. Is this going to work with everyone connected to my wifi or is it going to be a laggy mess? Do you think this would, perhaps, work as a corporate ice breaking event? With those last two we’re talking getting the game out once a year, perhaps this game is suitable for that frequency? Wait, how many years has the Switch got left? Perhaps this game should have come out 5-6 years ago? Perhaps there’s no new console coming for a few years yet😮
