Stellar Blade has sold only one million y Rise of the Ronin even less, compared to other exclusive titles they are not very profitable. Concord just came out and it has already touched rock bottom. Only big IPs like GoW and Spiderman are making big numbers. The "exclusive game" now is just temporary and it will slowly go away, everything is on PC nowadays. Nintendo on the other hand is playing another league and they can easily do whatever they want.

Why is it whenever exclusive games move to PlayStation, the only part of the conversation is " you still get that game earlier". That isn't the issue here. The issue is, why would anyone buy an xbox over a PlayStation, knowing that xbox games will come to playstation anyway. All be it later. This creates the issue of in the long run less people will buy an xbox , meaning less 3rd parties will make games for it as they wont see the investment as worth it. Thats the issue. Indy can go to PlayStation thats fine but announcing its coming before it even launches on xbox is just yet another reason to not bother with an xbox.

The series x only brought with it two things to offer that were any different from a one x. 1. Higher speed storage 2. The promise of a 60 fps floor To treat the entire generation as anything less than these two is to invalidate the entire existence of the generation as a whole. If first party games can not ship with a first priority goal of 60 fps (regardless of console being historically 30 fps or if you can just switch to PC) then series x really has nothing to offer. Seems to be an objective fact. Marketing + product + time = fact the fact is series x today shouldn’t exist and it was probably 5 to 7 years to early.

30fps is not that important especially to players like myself who play only on console; 30fps is adequate and more than sufficient for a functional, awesome, solid experience. I’m pretty sure 99% of casual players picking up a game running on a locked and smooth 30fps are not wishing hm if only it was at 60fps. No! They’re not. In fact all Nintendo switch games are 30fps and no one is complaining about it. Stop it with higher frames. Only hardest of hardcore care, the majority of people who buy these products and keep the game companies alive don’t.

The leverage is in the userbase. Right now, Xbox Series X/S is at 29 million while the PS5 is at 60 million. So, of course Microsoft wants to port their games over to PS5, to see if they can sell to a userbase that's twice as large. Why would Sony port games to a userbase that's half the size of their own? They wouldn't. It would damage PS5 sales if Sony sent their exclusives over to Xbox, so it's not worth it.

Destin stating facts today, 30fps truly isn't an issue, love when my games feel old and slow. And that poor Troy Baker, FINALLY, getting a chance to shine in this industry after only managing to do small janky indie games no one's ever heard of like The Last Of Us, Uncharted, Batman, Bioshock Infinite, Mortal Kombat, Middle Earth, Death Stranding and Metal Gear solid. People in the comments slagging off the xbox Console due to avowed and other games being 30 fps..... after months of games being released they then roll out updates allowing games to hit 60 fps, their is literally games out there on the xbox that are 60fps and even 120 fps, the masterchief collection being one of them and look how old that is now....... the xbox is clearly capable, the issue is the developers and crunch time, clearly they dont get enough time or they are too lazy to put that extra work in to achieve 60+fps before the games have released

Timed exclusives for COD would be huge for xbox sales. MS needs to do this. This is arguably the biggest property in ALL of gaming and you OWN it! You wanna sell more consoles, make it a timed exclusive! It still holds them to releasing it everywhere just timed. Even a short window like 3 months would eat at Playstation players and they'd be forced to buy an xbox. Doom needs to be timed as well.
