In response to Destin's moving on from games bit: they just need to spread the games out more.. we can't have 2 or 3 AAA games drop in the same month. Especially for folk like me, that doesn't have a comfort space game like Warzone, Destiny, Fortnite, etc.

Yes and no. In Outlaws you don’t have the versatility, flexibility, and dexterity to go in all stealth as you would in a Splinter Cell.

Days gone was only a flop for sony if you think professional reviews matter. The fact is that it has an 85 user score on Metacritic. The problem with Star Wars Outlaws is that the user score is unlikely to be anywhere close to what Days Gone has, especially considering how bland the gameplay, level deisgn and story is.

In terms of sales, Days Gone sold over 7 million copies, which is the same number as Bloodborne. So, anyone who calls Days Gone a flop would also have to call Bloodborne a flop.

It's a mid game from everything I've seen and am fine with that. Will buy it for 5$ in a year or two once it's patched and all content released, no rush to play "latest&greatest" just to be beta tester and spend money

Square Enix's declaration of doing away with exclusives clearly shows console exclusivity doesn't really pan out anymore. Xbox just happens to be ahead of the curve. First with PC day and date, then with a membership in Gamepass and now moving to multi platforms.

Sony will get there. It will just take them longer. They used to say no to PC, now they are all in. Lego Horizon is coming to Switch. It’s just the reality of the market. You can’t realistically complain about games going to more platforms and also complain about studio closures and layoffs.

No it doesn't. Both Sony and Nintendo have extremely successful businesses by selling exclusives. They will continue to do so. The only major player in this industry that says exclusives are dead, is the one side that literally can't sell its own because of the subscription and marketing they have done for the better part of a decade. When you tell your customers to stop buying your products, software and hardware, and instead get it all on a subscription, and they do, you can't be upset at these results.. They bet big and lost. They knew they needed to hit a certain amount of subscribers by a certain time, and they are nowhere near that threshold. Not even close. Xboxs business isn't sustainable. Period. End of story. Their recent pivots CLEARLY prove that. They HAVE to sell their products on competitors platforms because the vast majority of their fanbase did what they were told to do. Stopped buying and started subbing. The only tried and true way of succeeding in this business is by selling software. Xbox can no longer do that effectively. They now have to spend 100% of the costs and only get to keep 70% of the money at best, while giving Sony and Nintendo free money....this is catastrophic for a business. Major fail. There is no other way to look at this situation unless you're a completely irrational fanboy psychopath who doesn't understand how any business works let alone this one

@@stuartbagley2586 For Honor has gone through a massive change and a number of brilliant updates, but the team developing it is still relatively small, and their funding is nowhere near that of this game or assassin's creed or rainbow six siege despite being essentially the only game in its genre on the market. The dev team have openly said multiple times that the reason they can't release content more often is because of personnel and funding limits. Which is sad.
