We've had a couple of really good trips to this zoo in the past. It's a nice collection! Our last trip to Central Florida Zoo had a private event on that really bumped up the numbers. For a small zoo it was really noticeable. We wanted to get up to Jacksonville zoo at some point too, but we'd probably do that as an overnight stay.

I’m friends with one of the keepers at the Jacksonville zoo, but we’ve never been there. We’ll have to get over that way at some point. CFL Zoo is pretty small, so I can imagine how cramped it would be with a private event happening on the same day.

The "splash pad" area at the Brevard Zoo is awesome with the big aquarium and whatnot. I literally have to drag my 3-year-old out of there before we leave each time we visit lol

Very cool! We used to take Jess to the zoo in Sanford and I feel like we could spend an hour and see everything. We were really pleasantly surprised with the Brevard Zoo.
