I'll never forget, while having lunch at the Trident one afternoon ,but who would plop himself down next to me for lunch was, Robin Williams. So different than what you would expect....not madcap frenetic at all...very reserved and polite...go figure!😂 I just hope and pray that San Francisco has seen the light and will stop all the self-destructive, progressive madness it's been going through and restores itself to its'rightful place as Americas' most beautiful city again...😢🤞🙏

Make sure to visit Sausalito, a quaint town located just across the Golden Gate Bridge. You can reach Sausalito by renting a car or taking the ferry from Pier 39 in San Francisco. The ferry ride is a pleasant experience and offers beautiful views. Another option is to take the Golden Gate Ferry to the nearby town of Tiburon. I have been a subscriber for three years and I live in the San Francisco Bay Area, about a 35-minute drive from Facebook's headquarters and 20 minutes from Tesla's headquarters. Don’t forget to visit Google's headquarters in Mountain View!

If you ever go back to San Francisco, visit the Golden Gate Park. It’s very big so I suggest you look at a map of it to see the various features such as Buffalo, fly fishing practice ponds, and a museum amongst other things. Just north on the Golden Gate Bridge is the small town of Sausalito. It is so quaint. It is the location where singer Otis Redding wrote the song dock of the Bay. I haven’t done it myself, but I understand there is a train that goes to Napa, which is wine country. Also, if you’re in California next time visit some of the national parks and forests. There are a lot of places in the US that are not visited very often from people on KZbin who have reaction channels. One of them is the Grand Canyon. One Scottish guy came to America and he got an Airbnb in Oregon and then drove from Oregon to California. The drive is very beautiful and scenic. I think foreigners should visit America’s natural beauty spots, and not just the tourist traps.

So glad you enjoyed the amazing city of San Francisco… so many hidden treasures to explore in every neighborhood… so next time you come back, make sure you get out to the inner Richmond (Green Apple books, Burma SuperStar restaurant, and a lot of other great places, food and otherwise, to check out), the Haight (Amoeba Records, great coffee shops and quirky stores), the Sunset (near the Zoo), etc… The best time to make it out here would be late September / early. October… the weather is the best, and a LOT to do… (including the best Free Music festival in the world: The Hardly Strictly Bluegrass festival, which has featured almost everyone you can think of from Dolly Parton, to Paul Weller to Elvis Costello to… the list goes on and on… ). …and it’s in the incredible Golden Gate Park. Dippin dots is the definition of ice cream. Its ice cream but instead of the slow freeze that most manufacturers use, dippin dots uses a fast one shot freeze with liquid nitrogen. That drops the temperature really fast and it has no grain. It’s different but fun. It’s colder but it’s the same as regular ice cream. Restaurants sometimes do the liquid nitrogen method but very rarely as requires control and special equipment to pull off. I know that AVEC in Chicago does it for their art dessert.

Re the busses not keeping to their schedules - i live in a pretty large metropolitan area on the east coast. Busses leaving their stops early is common here and there is no consistency, so you can never predict any of it. You can wait for a long time, thinking that the bus is late when in fact, it had arrived and left ahead of time. Getting there 30 minutes early, just to be safe, isn't always possible if you are transferring from another bus. So please don't hold it against beautiful San Francisco - they aren't the only one. Doesn't make it any less frustrating, I know.

I love San Francisco, I live have lived in the San Francisco Bay Area since I was six, and I'm 46 now...I live in "Silicon Valley", officially known as Santa Clara County, and I take the train up to SF at least once a month. It takes about an hour. SF is not falling apart as trump's followers would have you believe. Our region enjoys one of the highest standards of living anywhere in the world. Here in Santa Clara County, life expectancy is 84 years, infant mortality rate is 2.7 out of 1000 (in France it's 3, I think), 96% have private healthcare insurance, with Valley Health providing free health care to the rest, our obesity rate is 18%, our median income is 158,000 USD. Land is expensive, with median home price 1.7 million USD, but it's expensive for a reason, you know. Reasons of which we are proud. I don't make anywhere near 158k, so I share a one bedroom apartment. Better to share a one bedroom apartment in the Bay Area than have a McMansion and be surrounded by trump voters lol. From the Bridge, The "L" light train ("MUNI train") stops within walking distance of the zoo....just get bus 28 from the parking lot at the golden gate bridge, and get off at 19th and Taraval, then get on light rail L and ride it to the end. Takes an hour total from the Golden Gate Bridge Welcome Center. 🙂

You missed something real cool. At the viewpoint you were at just below the bridge there is a Civil War era fort. You can see a bit of it in your video. It is a national park and tours are given. That fort is supposed to be a miniature version of fort Sumter and is one of the last brick forts built by the US.

I'm sorry that you went to the SF zoo. It's crap. Oakland Zoo is much better. Anyway, always fun to watch you guys!

Haha, where you were lined up watching the crew turn the cable car, I was there in 1990. The homeless bums were going up and down the line of tourists hitting them up for spare change. Looks like when you were there, they were gone? Or you just didn’t show them?

Watching your trip to the US is like watching s flashback movie. 😁You left SF months ago. But looks like fun anyway. American buses do normally wait for the posted times. SF may not make it a habit. It really doesn't make much sense for the bus to leave early now I think about it. Dippin' Dots are dry ice cooled (I think) so they will be extra cold.

Wasn't there a Diane Jennings video that you could have linked? One where she disliked everything about the United States? You showed another reaction earlier, ya'll must really like that kind of content.

The "Mighty Mac" bridge which connects lower Michigan to the Upper Peninsula of Michigan over the Mackinac Straits is more impressive. The strait the bridge spans connects Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, two of the Great Lakes
