On a cold windy night at the end of the year, we warmed our bodies and souls at the "Sacchan" ramen stall in Toranomon Tokyo Japanese street food
At the end of December 2021, on an extremely cold night with a gust of wind blowing, I visited the ramen stall "Sacchan" in Toranomon Tokyo.
He has been in business here in Toranomon for 40 years. It is open at Toranomon from 8:00 pm to 1:00 am, and then moves to Ginza 8-chome from 1:00 am until morning.
Customers come from all walks of life, including people who work in the neighborhood, people on their way home from a bar, cab drivers, and others. Most of them are regulars, and according to the owner, "This business is made up of regulars," and some of them even come all the way from far away to eat the ramen here. In fact, on this particular day, a customer came all the way from 10 kilometers away from Atsugi, Kanagawa Prefecture, just to eat the ramen here.
In addition to the personality of the owner, the ramen here is delicious. The soup, noodles, and chashu (pork) were all very delicious and tasted just the way I like them. It also warmed up my cold body very quickly.
In accordance with the Tokyo Metropolitan Government's ordinance, food stalls are rapidly disappearing.
This is one of the few remaining yatai in Tokyo, and it is very valuable.
I highly recommend that you visit and try it for yourself.
Notice;
There was a lot of wind noise in this video, and even though I muffed some of it during editing, there were still many parts that were difficult to hear. Please forgive me for this.
