My partner and I went to see this in theaters. During the opening scene I gasped quietly "Matt Bomer? Oh, he's gonna die". My partner leans over and asks "How do you know he's gonna die? Nothing's even happened yet!" and I tell him "Because that's Matt Bomer and he wasn't in any of the trailers or on the posters! He's gonna die!" Three minutes later he whispers "Oh my god, you were right" 😂

"Chill, chill, it's just one guy." They're panicking cause they're in Native American territory, and historically during the settlers, expansion, and Western eras, the fear of being killed by Native Americans was VERY high. Like, paranoia high.

"They won't be here till morning." "You heard the man, everyone get some cookies and orange juice." 😂😂😂 Major respect for your voters. You don't often see this flick getting a view, much less a large enough of a fanbase to upvote it. So a big thank you to them! It's so easy for people to say how the original was better, but that doesn't mean the remake wasn't any good. And this one is good. Really good.

It's been remade so many times that it doesn't even resemble the source material anymore. The original was a Japanese film called Seven Samurai and was about a village threatened by bandits who hire seven samurai to come defend them. There have since been many iterations on the theme, including a sci-fi space themed movie, and, believe it or not, A Bugs Life.
