This is one of the best low budget horror parodies I've ever seen. You can tell a lot of heart and genuine care went into it, with the intention of just having fun making a movie, and embracingit's sillyness. That's what separates the so bad it's good, from the just plain bad. I love all the nods to other Seuss books and David Thorton made for a great Grinch. And the Grinch's death is just so fitting.

Watched this for the first time the other night with some friends. Even though it was bad, I still strangely enjoyed it. There were parts where it was so bad that it made me laugh, which I was glad about. I'd rather have a movie be laughably bad than frustratingly bad.

Fun Fact: The Mean One is played by the same Actor who plays Art the Clown slasher killer in the Terrifier franchise.

Crazy part about the ending is that if the movie wanted to, they really could have made a horror slasher that was truly sympathetic. In fact it probably would have worked better from the Mean One’s perspective. With act one showing the events that lead to the current timeline. Act two is him falling into despair and madness due to his mistreatment, but never going too over the top with the violence (and not murdering Cindy’s parents but maybe instead hurting them in some way.) Act three has a similar climax, but Cindy plays the role of someone wanting to stop the Grinch from hurting more people and saving him from destroying himself.

Can I just say at the bath scene and the part when they were kissing, and then it gets ruined by the mean one and Cindy wakes up to me that part was like a funny scene where it turns out we thought the man was dreaming that being in the shower with Cindy kissing each other but suddenly the monster interferes and suddenly he wakes up but instead, it was Cindy who dreamt that and it really shows how much she’s really in love with that man.
