i love you and Cris the Girl, not in a weird way, I am just older and really really love your videos, they help me so immensely on a mental basis, life has grown boring in some ways, but your travel videos and all your Florida Videos are just so entertaining and you and Cris the Girl are genuine and real and such nice nice people. I love Bella too, she is so cute. Thanks so much for all you three do. Chris

Tampa Jay, I want to share something with you and Cris. Back in 2013 I became very sick. I had bronchitis, deep chest congestion, and I went to the doctor three separate times. I stayed at home for over a month and a half with this sickness. I only was able to go to the doctor those three times. I missed a month and a half of church because of it. I experienced a touch of claustrophobia, which I had never had throughout my life. My wife and I went through the Florida Caverns in Marianna, Florida back in the 80s. Now, I gave you that background to say this: my daughter and I went to Ruby Falls back in 2018. I was excited to be going down in the cavern. So I thought. We got on the elevator and went down to the bottom. We walked around the curved path to a waiting area, and the tour guide told us all to wait there until she went back up and got another group for the tour. As I was standing there with the very low ceiling, I looked around and all of a sudden it hit me. That feeling of claustrophobia hit me and I began to feel enclosed as if I was trapped. I told my daughter that I could not stay down there. We were talking with another woman and she told me that my daughter could stay with her. That she would take care of her. My daughter is in her 20s. So I ran around the curved path to the tour guide and I told her I could not stay down there, that I HAD to get out. She was trained very well. She got me over the the elevator, past the other guests standing there and told me to get on the elevator and to stand in a certain spot. I did. I had never felt like that before. That ride up on the elevator was the longest ride I had ever been on, so it seemed. When I got to the top and the door opened, I got off and was back in the building and what a relief I felt. The tour guide told me to go to the ticket counter and tell one of the staff that I took the short tour. I did as she told me and the woman gave me back all of my ticket money except for $5.00. Afterward, I realized what that meant. By telling the ticket people that you took the short tour, that is a code from the tour guide, telling the ticket person, that the person began to panic, or at least feeling claustrophobic and had to get out. That code indicated to the ticket person that the person did not take the full tour, and so they only charged $5 because technically I did go down the elevator and I did see a small portion of the tour, even if it was just the beginning. So I got my refund and went to the cafe and got something to calm myself down. I waited for my daughter to get back up from the tour, by walking to the observation deck, looking in the gift shop, and just sitting and people watching. I have never experienced anything like that before. I wanted to share that with yall, since yall did go all the way through the tour. I watched the entire video and I liked being able to see on your video, what I did not get to see in person. This is one of many reasons why people like you and Cris are putting up videos. For people like me that experienced an unfortunate situation in the past, and then getting to see what I had to bypass, on your videos. Now here's one last part: that same day, we also had pre-purchased tickets to go and walk through Rock City, just a few short miles away. When we started walking down and got down into the needle's eye tight squeeze, and then into the caves and inside the huge boulders, I was perfectly fine. I walked through the entire thing, where the gnomes were, and the nursery rhyme section and I never felt anything like I did at Ruby Falls. I enjoyed that a lot. So I felt to share this with yall. I have started vlogging myself, and we plan on taking a day trip back up to Chattanooga and going through Rock City again, and this time I'll video it and post it on my channel. All of yall that I watch regularly from you and Cris to Adam The Woo, World Of Micah, Tim Tracker, Jackie from Super Enthused, Scott On Tape, Grimm Life Collective, and even two separate people from PIgeon Forge, have really inspired me to start vlogging myself. So I will be going to lots of places here in Georgia and vlogging them, and when we come down to Disney and Universal. I would love for yall to subscribe to my channel and start watching my videos. My name is Darel, and I am thecoolestdad. Thanks yall.

Been up to the top of Lookout Mountain to the National Park where the Civil War battle was. That battle was called 'Battle Above the Clouds" because they were above the clouds during the battle. The view from up there is even more amazing than from the observation deck at Ruby Falls. I did not get to tour that cave but have been in several other caves. We live about 10 minutes away from Indiana Caverns which is very nice, and even closer to Squire Boone Caverns. You need to come to this area!

Enjoyed seeing your perspective of that cave! I haven't been in 20 or so years. If you guys really want to see some good caves, take a trip to Northern Arkansas/Southern Missouri! I especially would recommend Blanchard Springs (go when the Discovery Trail is open)! Your way of remembering tites/mites is cute! Hadn't heard it before, but it's similar to how I always like to teach people (former cave guide). It also involves the spelling...Stalactite: C is for ceiling! Stalagmite: G is for ground!

As a cave explorer and spelunking enthusiast this is heartbreaking to see what humans have done to these caverns. The "wet look" you referred to is the oils from human skin contact which permanently destroys the formation. Most formations take 100's to thousands of years to form. Couple snot nosed brats and some ignorant tourists and there goes true beauty
