Hey guys, I use the Bernat blanket for my big dragons, dinos, axolotls and alligators. I grabbed mine at $2.99 at Ollie's. I also worked out a deal with the manager. If I untangle the buggy; I got a discount. Less than $2 per skein or donut. Yes, I grabbed all they had. I also found a book that gives a pattern for a crochet bowling set. Thanks for sharing. I've bought multiple skeins of the lion hear one hat wonder seasame street yarn. $2.99 is incredible. Big Bird, Bert, Ernie, Abbie Cadabby, Count, Cookie Monster, Elmo, Oscar the Crouch. (All the grown people in my house wanted on, so they were not 1 hat wonder skeins. 😉)

We are getting an Ollie's AND a Hobby Lobby in our town. I am so excited about both! I usually have to drive 30 mins to go to Hobby Lobby, and I have never been to Ollie's. We have a Big Lots in the town that has Hobby Lobby, which, in case you didn't know, Big Lots is a store that is very similar to Ollie's, but they never have yarn.

Almost all of those Ogos there are Bernat Blanket Yarn, same amount as the skeins. If you like Bernat Blanket Yarn, that's those Ogos. Mega deal. :) Thers about 30 different colors counting each of the ones on the Ogos. Multiple shades of most of the colors, too. Tons of mix and match possibilities there. I'm drooling seeing all those colors. Lol.

Ive made a super comfy knit sweater for hubby out of the Ogo Bernat blanket yarn. Its fluffy light like a cloud, cozy and cuddly. Knits up fast because it's so thick, but it's not super heavy in weight like most bulky yarns are. Lots of pretty colors. With the Ogos you can get lots of different colors, separate them out, and combine in stripes however you want. The Ogos have the same amount of yarn as the big skein of it. A whole sweater for $4.99 depending on size. I got the free pattern on ravelry. There are a few different ones made of the blanket yarn. I'm going to make some of those wearable blankets for family with more of the Ogos I got at Ollies. Yours has quite a pretty selection of colors. Mine only had 4 choices of ogos, but with 3 colors on each, that was a large selection of colors over all. I need to use up more of the bunch I got a few months ago before I can go again. 😂 I have a very large storage tote full.

Bernat Blanket are usually $12.99 so at $5.00 that is a great price. And the Sasame street lovey yarn from Lion Brand sells at $ 6.99. Another fun trip! thank you for sharing! My Ollie's is not as big...they have a pretty dismal selection of yarn at the moment.

I love the blanket ogo yarns. I use them to make amigurumi. I have made a lot from the book MAMA MADE MINIS Knotted Loveys. They are easy to follow and work up quickly. I have been looking for the brown. I will check out another Ollie's.

I took 6 rounds that 3 toned blue O'go, broke it up, and made basic color blocks into a bed runner/single wide blanket for my King bed because it gets cold here some winters and my string bean of a husband usually has his toes peek out. I also took 2 rounds of the "rose gold" one, made slippers for hubby with the black chunk, and the rest got used to make a puppy toy basket because she strings toys all over like a toddler.😂

Those tans and browns people who make amigurumi would use those for body colors and certain animals. And the Sesame Street yarns.. crystal with bagoday has a blanket pattern using all those characters for a cute baby toddler blanket 😉
