As an avid reader of horror, and someone who has had a bunch of horror novels and short stories published, you'll never get a jump scare in a book, but there are concepts and imagery that can really haunt you. And if we can't scare you, we will gross you out at the very least.

Actually Fennec Foxes I believe are one of the smallest species of fox if not The smallest, and I think they hail from the deserts of Africa. Sorry, I watch A Lot of Animal Planet, National Geographic, and PBS Nature type programs on TV, always have, my parents used to watch a lot of that while I was growing up as a kid, and Fennec Foxes & Sea Otters have become particular favorites of mine in the animal world.

Ama ama is actually one very common fish called striped mullet. It’s a known food source. They simply don’t grow as big there as they do in Florida. You can easily catch mullet during the season and they are big, well big for mullet.

There is a fancy hotdog in Vegas. It’s Wagyu sausage, truffle ketchup, the highest French mustard, and with wasabi relish, with some like little sides. Truffle Pram fries. It’s like $150 maybe more and at the belligo. It’s a waste of money especially considering the most expensive burger and pizza are nearby. The most expensive pizza is barely cooked as it’s mostly caviar and high end cheese. the most expensive burger is Wagyu and gold leaf.

You should also read verity by Colleen Hoover if you haven’t! It’s a thriller with a bit of romance in it (which I’m not usually a huge fan of romance) but it was dark and creepy and a massive page turner!
