@@wrh41 don't want to surprise you, but Disney is also overpriced faux luxury right in the middle of swampland as well. For the amenities Disney has in almost every hotel, you can get a nicer room for half the price in most every major city or island.

It is a bit ridiculous that the activities/amenities aren't just included with your stay. I just pulled up their PDF list of everything and, when you consider how much you are paying, even for the smaller cabins/tents, the fees to do just about anything worthwhile during your stay make this an extremely overpriced experience.

This brought back so many memories for me. My grandparents took my sister and me here in 1982. It has changed a lot since then.Lots more buildings that are way nicer. However seems really expensive and out of our price range now. We went here because my grand dad had a plane and he could fly us right in without having to pay for a car.

It's so nice to see Bandit so happy and to escape a little with one of your videos. What a cool place, with so many on-site activities! Your video was the first we have heard of it. It kind of gave me Fort Wilderness vibes. I like how even if you choose the glamping option, you still get a private bathroom (even if it is not attached to your unit). I have the website open now and will look more into it. Might be less expensive than boarding or a pet sitter if you don't have a friend or relative to care for your pet. Pet's are people's children in some cases, $200+ would be worth it to those folks. Then there are service animals, etc.. Lots of situations where the money isn't the only deciding factor.

I love golf carts too! Did you know?, that back in the day, if you stayed at the tree houses, you got a golf cart with the house. We used it to go to a small cheese shop in the area named "Lake Buena Vista". Fast forward 40 years and viola, Disney Springs.
