i know this trip was a little while back. but i had a great tip which is especially since OTV travels to japan often for trips and shoots. i think they need to learn basic japanese for navigation like restaurant, sushi, ramen etc. not that that's my main point. but the reason why i say that is because. japan can be a food paradise. there's bound to be yummy and less yummy places. and the one tip is. type japanese on google maps and look for food places instead of using english. because japanese are more accustomed to japanese language than english and they take ratings very serious. like law level serious, which one poor remark can end up in a lawsuit (i know of it for locals, can't say if it applies to tourist too). so those yummy local food are often in japanese wording, rather than english. that's why i suggest using japanese to search and to pick up basic japanese to begin with.
