Annie peck I agree with you 100% . I would have all their dogs taken away from them. Pepole who don't take care of their animals or dogs. and leave them outside. with no food and warter in horrible conditions for 24 -7 should automatically be jailed for life, no court date ever, should be fined a hefty big time with all their their money taken away from them. Sell everthimg they own and give the money to the rescueing teams andfor vet. bills to get the dogs healthy again.What they did to their dogs the stupid humans should get the same treatment done to them to see how they like it.

People see pit bulls as the evil killer dogs now because the head lines will read either "Pitbull kills woman" or "Dog kills woman." In the 80s it was Rottweilers, in the 70s Doberman Pinchers. In Alaska we get "dog" or "husky" or "sled dog" headlines along with the pit bull ones. Too many people are looking for entertainment in their news, and the media has responded. Online, newspapers, TV, radio, they all resort to sensationalism to get you to pay attention. The information still might be there, you just have to wade through all the crap to find it

so heartbreaking.i cant speak for other states i only rescue from NYC but i remember when "blue" pitties were so sought after and rare..now we see them dying by the hundreds in our shelters.unwanted ...thank you for saving this little boy.you do amazing work.

I have a Mastiff/pitt both which are known as "dangerous" dogs... well I have 8 children my fur baby has never so much as snarled at a single one of them regardless how rambunctious or touchy they are. It is because we are raising him with love. He will as a gentle giant eat food out of your hand. My other fur baby is Husky/Rottweiler we have had him since 6 months old, he is now 11 years old & never a snap or a snarl towards my kids and only once or twice has he so much as barked at a human! He went after a man in my neighbors yard who was robbing them and he doesn't care for one of the local pizza men... honestly the guy gave me creepy vibes so I don't blame him lol

Pit Bulls and Rottweilers are some of the most misunderstood breeds in the world. It me, it is all about the person on the end of the leash that makes the dog the way they are.

How do you know he wasn't even skinnier when they got him? And maybe they can't let him inside because someone in the family is allergic, which is why they rather gave it to someone who can take care of it. Or maybe their other dog gets aggressive if they let another dog into the house. I know the other dog was chained up too in the video, but it's very possible that they take him inside at night, or that they just tie the dogs outside for a short while because they have a hole in the fence that they could escape through, but want to give the dog the chance to see the outside world anyway.

There's no facts about Pittbulls being a bad dog, the "bad dog" breed has changed multiple times, at one point it was the German Shepard because of being one of the main breeds that the police use-but now it isn't. The abuse of a single breed-or any breed needs to end.

Look how happy he looked to be petted and touched. It would be so hard for me to keep my mouth shut if I were there! That girl looks like she never missed a meal. Has time and money for her hair- but she can't clean up the yard, feed the dog or bring him water. If the dog had to live outside, it could have at least been on the porch under some cover from sun & rain. That pile of nasty chewed up foam for a bed is the saddest excuse ever. Really- a balled up old blanket would have been better. I hope he didn't ingest the foam- poor dog. She should be made to live in that cage!

No dog should be tied up in a yard. That house is not a good place for these dogs to be. That's no way for a dog to live. They should take the male too. He deserves better. ALL dogs in this situation deserves better.

The only two aggressive Pit Bulls I've been in contact with belonged to owners who were complete assholes. All the others, 4 or 5, were just like this beauty.

The dog is beautiful. Are pit bulls overall good with families. You here so many horror stories....however my friend has a pit bull in TN ...I have never seen the dog but he says the dog is so sweet - "a big baby" ...I do not get all the negatives you hear.....few stories of grandparents watching their grandchildren and their pit bull kills the child. But all the pit bulls I have seen on you tube ..even the ones that are strays or neglected/chained up seem so kind. Is there a way to determine if a dog has a mean or angry personality. I love the intelligence and demeanor of labs but pit bulls too seem so kind and loving. I am always amazed at how fearless the people who catch the strays are and it seems the dogs are so happy to be rescued.

Pits are the most controversial breed of dog out there. Actually the uneducated person is the most controversial breed out there. Pits are the most loyalist fun loving dogs out there. I love mine, LITTLE IVORY GIRL.
