Abandoned buildings are not uninhabited or unoccupied. Homeless bums, crazies, crackheads, serial killers, fugitives hiding from the law all need shelter. You also have other urbex explorers so it is likely to run into each other.

My parents lived in that building in the 1970 it was very nice doctors and lawyers lived in the building Huron road hospital was across the street and a lot of the staff stayed there it was even a pool on the roof and beauty salon in there

Great vid. I went on street view after and tried to get it to glitch out to see what it was like before it was abandoned and it worked 😅. What caught my attention more is the buildings opposite the site that is now just a grass field. They looked in very good condition and the side walks looked clean and tidy with well looked after grass. I noticed as well a lot of the wooden houses around the estate were abandoned and had been pulled down to be replaced with grass. Here in the UK 🇬🇧 if a house is pulled down after being abandoned it is very quickly rebuilt on and replaced with another house of as many like to do here atm build flats.

Haha that's funny park lane is the name of our old school apartment complex that's been designated unfit and was left to rot and pigeons to roost in for yrs until some company bought it an is actually repairing the place and plans to rent out units again I guess they had an assessment done and it was cheaper to gut the place right down to the skeleton basically by that I mean the structural steel frame of the building and then restore all the apartments back into it then it was to construct a new complex from scratch I guess the structural frame was still, in very good condition being 75 yrs old so that's what they been doing for 4 or 5 yrs now id imagine they must be gonna be done soon but then again it looks like there's only a skeleton crew restoring this building of least a dozen floors not sure how many units are in it but it looks like there's maybe a dozen guys working on it maybe even less so at that speed it's gonna take awhile to be complete lol it ain't nobody from around here anyways lol that's funny park lane apartments

Whenever you go to places like this, having a firearm on you for personal safety is absolutely necessary. You might catch a trespassing charge if you had to call police, but if you had to shoot someone, that's self-defense if you feared for your life. It's not the other person's decision whether you're 'welcome' there as they are also trespassing and not supposed to be in there.

Though it’s abandoned, it’s still legally owned even if it’s the county or state. So if there ever was a confrontation to the point of pulling out a firearm even with a license, the legality is no ones supposed to be there “trespassing” in the first place. The defense would argue that the urban explorers were there to cause harm bringing a gun even though they came in peace, obviously recording everything is there defense but by then legal matters are way over your head.
