Still a good watch, worthy of a re-watch, and you and George are to be commended for taking this on. I sure wouldn't have (fortunately there are several resources in my county who do this sort of thing). George was pretty funny in spots. Looked like a beautiful female red-tailed hawk. Thank you for rescuing her and getting her to the wildlife center. Awesome work! I can't believe people would leave those nasty glue traps outside like that where birds, snakes or other types of animals could get stuck on them. Shame on them and good on you!

Hello, Marlene and company. I love how you are helping the hawk. I am so upset about these glue traps The glue traps need to be banned from, the market. I read that people were putting the glue traps on trees to catch these invasive moths and beautiful wild birds were getting stuck to them. It breaks my heart. I feel sorry for the rats that get stuck on these I have read awful stories how they rip off their skin and limbs. The poor animals and birds are so helpless on these glue traps. Anyway I will watch the rest of your video on the hawk. You and George are so wonderful helping the hawk! I love all of you !!!!

Hey Marlene, I wanted to reach out to you. I am currently living abroad and my parents were looking after my two green cheek conures that are bonded and they can no longer take care of them. I've tried to jave them transported to me but I can't find anyone willing to ship them internationally. I am out of options and I really need them to go to a good home. Could you or someone you know adopt them? They are currently in San Diego. I hope this reaches you I'm so worried that they'll be stuck in a cage as I used to let them roam free.

Maybe she's been gone for so long she doesn't know you can edit videos in KZbin after you upload them now 😂 You used to have to delete and re-upload to make edits but it hasn't been that way in years

Hi! We had some music copyright issues due to an outside editing company and couldn't change the music in KZbin edit without losing the original sound so we had to re-edit and repost!

@sarahh2072 Trust me, I'm aware of what you can do. There are 2 options for me on this case, you can change music by putting me music over it or delete the segment with the music in it. But if you put new music over it, you lose everything we say. Same if we delete it. It's all one audio file, and music goes on for multiple minutes in the video. I wasn't going to leave a video up where you can hear music, but nothing is coming out of our lips.

I should ask and see if i get a response. If i had to guess, they used a dishwashing soap like Dawn and perhaps some feathers had to be cut or molted and regrown which is why she needed a few months for them to grow before she was released.

Great job rescuing the Hawk. I was terrified for a while that you were going to try and clean him up yourselves. Thank God that didn't happen. I was wondering why a wildlife professional wasn't able to come and rescue the poor bird in the first place. I would imagine they would get plenty of calls at odd hours to rescue wildlife. I am so glad you stepped up when the people who should have were not available. You are truly a good soul to all animals and I love your channel.
