I know this is an old video, however, it truly blesses my heart to hear you encourage your wife with her finds. When she expresses why so pick something up you hear her out and let her have it, even when you believe it is not a money maker. She will learn from you, especially by allowing her to make a few mistakes that you have already made. You are a great team. Iron sharpens iron.

Then she started talking about this great youtube named "HAIRY TORNADO". I was so enthralled! I said I watch him too! We chatted about his recent palette unboxing and all his videos! Next time you go early enough and get a buggy, you should get some heap carabiners that you can clip on the buggy to hold your Ikea bags. Instant extra storage on your buggy. Good hunting!!
@daragentry7514 жыл бұрын
Also, when you don’t get a buggy, using smaller bags and carabiners to clip them to your belt loops or waistband helps to save your hands, arms and back. Just make sure your pants fit well, or you’re wearing a belt!! LOL 😂 Otherwise you will lose your G Rating! But seriously, I have degenerative disk disease, and this is a helpful technique to save your back from strain when shopping without a basket. 😊

You should get one of those folding metal grocery shopping carts, they sell them at Amazon. Then you wouldn't need to carry heavy Ikea bags around. You can also use it to wheel your packages from your vehicle into the post office. I had one for grocery shopping when I lived in the city and had to take the subway to get groceries. They work great and save your hands and back carrying a heavy bag full of stuff.

That's nice they let so many people in at one time. The place we go in Ft. Myers, Fl they only let 40 people in at a time and you can fill 2 Ikea bags before you have to check out. So unless you get there at 5-6 in the morning you won't get anything good. They don't open till 10. It used to be great until they started doing auctions online and keeping all of the good stuff for themselves.

You seriously need a fold-up grocery shopping cart! Mine holds up to 5-6 big brown paper grocery bags full of books, HEAVY books and I can pull it up my 5 steps to my front porch and into my house. I can take it in to places like that store if need be. Your little red cart would work too, but it's more bulky than my fold up grocery cart. If I had to use Ikea bags, I'd be trying to carry about 6 of those and then I would break my back because that's just the way I am. LOL

If you do not want to get there early to get a buggy you could always buy one of those foldout wagons. It's a metal frame with four wheels and fabric campus sides and bottom. It's a pretty good size and you could keep stuff in it and you wouldn't have to carry it. It is about 10 inches by a foot by 3 feet tall roughly so it would fit in your vehicle easily
@marthaharwood29603 жыл бұрын

That does look like a carburetor and the things in the baggie are a gasket and other items for attaching to the engine. I suggest googling “carburetor” and adding the numbers on the box to see what you get. It also looked like there might have been some paperwork in the other bag on the side of the box, which could give you some information. You could try taking it to some local auto parts stores and mechanic shops to see what they make of it. If it’s too small for a car, check with motorcycle, scooter, even lawnmower repair shops. Someone will recognize it. It could be worth the extra leg work because some carburetors can be expensive.

The thing is that everyone has their own understanding of what they should be buying for their store. I've been doing this for 7 years (full time for almost 6), and sell pretty much anything. So my understanding and comfort level with an item may be different than someone who has only been doing this for say 2 years. Perfect example, I just started watching your videos a few days ago, and have already seen you pass on 3 or 4 items that I buy and sell all of the time. They are like staples to me. On the opposite hand, I don't sell clothing, so you could probably go into any thrift store after me and clean house. Knowledge is definitely key.

The "baggie of things" are the gaskets and bolts you'd need to seal it properly. The hose and clamp are separate but could be a selling point if you include it. The spark plugs are unrelated. Figure out if those are new and sell those separate. They could be $3. They could be $20.
