Oh my gosh! I had one of my designer bags stolen out of my suitcase on the last cruise I went on. Suitcase locks are life savers! I know most cruise lines allow them, but some don’t. I’ve been on many vacations, and I’m pretty sure I learn something new every time haha. :-)

Ive travelled a lot and one thing for sure is that you never put valuables in a checked suitcase! Specially electronics, jewelery or money. Even in airports, employees can see in the X-rays what's in them, they open them up even if you have a lock on it, all they need is to jab the zipper with a ball point pen to open it and then they can zip it closed again. I know so many people that have had things stollen from their luggage!

I just watched this today. Did the situation get sorted out yet? It's so not fair for these people to be so apathetic towards your missing watches and its such a poor business practice. Customer concerns should always be #1 in their practice, unless they prefer to have a bad reputation, less cliente and shut down their business. By all means, go right ahead if you really don't care about the customer. Destroy your own brand from the inside for all I care.

Unfortunately it never did. I could have pursued it more and had the airline reimburse us but we ended up just letting it go and it was a learning experience. We didn't bring anything of value on our most recent trip, and kept a lot of things in our carry-on if we felt they could be stolen.

Just as a future idea... Pick up a sample of your perfume to take on your cruises. Sometimes you can get empty bottles too. The small ones are easier to manage for travel. The cruise line is likely to blame. They will go through your stuff even if you do not have anything of value. Freaks me out. I have taken a lot of cruises and learned early to just take my luggage on with me. You can get into your room when you board.

You should file a complaint with Miami PD. Sometimes the police gets hold of stolen stuff and often don't know who the owners are because few people file reports. It's cute that you wore LL Bean in this video. No more tropical sun and bathing suits, back to the North and cozy, warm stuff.

So is your consensus that the people at the cruise port were the thieves? I haven't heard back from American Airlines yet....thinking I'm just going to fill out a reimbursement form with them. It honestly could have happened at either place :-( And lol I live in that sweatshirt outside of work! I love LL Bean so much

File a report with the PD if they get enough of them they will seriously look into who is at that port. If everyone just said” oh it was a just a small thing” they could do this to a lot of people for a long time. Dumb thieves get greedy smart ones do not.

that sucks ! i feel ya tho ... years ago i bought a tommy hilfiger skirt on my cruise packed it in the tommy bag( big mistake) never saw it again. I now know never put souvneirs in your bags with any labels or writing... never leave price tags on clothes nething with value comes in the carryon even tho i love all my clothes lol ! Also girly never bring a whole bottle of perfume your lucky it didnt explode... go to sephora and they will make u up a sample sprayer of whatever u want ... much easier! Just food for thougbt 😉🙃🙂

The definition of robbery is having something stolen from you by force or fear of force. IE...give me this or I will do this to you...without the threat or fear of threat...it’s not robbery. It’s just larceny. Depending on the amount stolen it’s either petit or grand larceny (misdemeanor or felony)

i think u could consider putting a lock on ur luggage to help prevent it from happening again cuz if they really need to see inside it then u would have to be there to open it
