The skin on my toe toe started burning and was turning like a fire red! Hmmm...cellulitis! Sliced a red potato put a slice over the top and another slice under the toe. Put a tight sock over it and went on with my day. Replaced the slices for overnight. 24 hours and it was gone, completely cleared up! Way better than antibiotics! 😊

He just turned 16 this month. I am grateful that I can homeschool him through an online program. I encourage other parents if public school hasn't worked for you.

I was a very sick kid, and I spent a lot of time in the hospital. I decided when I was 8 years old that if I ever had a child, I would homeschool them. I am almost 40 and disabled and I homeschool my child. I absolutely love homeschooling, and I see a big difference with behavior compared to public school kids. I have no spleen, so i try to do stuff to keep myself well... Sometimes it doesn't work and i get sick... But last fall i dried some Mullen leaves and have dome dried rosehips, elderberries and elderberry flowers... I did red clover as well. Mixed them all together and have been drinking the tea and eating my fermented garlic honey on toast....its helping.

We did this the other day doug and stacy we are still stuck in cali til hubby has shoulder surgery. He has five tears and has tried five mo of PT and still not healing. Hes 59. So we just put twenty in the tank and went to laguna beach. And walked danced sang and listened to waves and music for two hrs with the grandkids. Digging and burying themselves in the sand and getting in the water upto their knees and looking for a few shells. Even in the dark was so relaxing and the energy was perfect. Came back refreshed and calm!

To clean woodstove glass- just use wet rag and the ashes from the stove. Dab some ash onto the rag and rub the window. Helps to have two rags, (caution- don't put cold rag on hot window)

Funny thing is then if you color your hair yourself and get a lot of color around your forehead or around your ears, you can use cigarette ashes with a little bit of water and rub it on there and it’ll remove the color from your skin to clean it up around your face and neck and around your ears if you get coloredon there from coloring your hair

Thank you for sharing. In my area of Texas, we have had sunny days mostly. The warm fall has allowed me to pick tomatoes off my vines today. The last freeze did do some damage to the tomatoes. They still have a lot of tomatoes some ripe and some not. I harvested many tomatoes today. The green ones tend to ripen if you leave them on the counter I am learning. Last Fall we had a much earlier cold snap around late October mid-November. Has been nice harvesting jalapenos, cilantro and tomatoes this late in December. Looks like in two more months I will be starting seeds for next year's garden. I may have provided you a new customer this week. Gave my mail carrier a bag of your chocolate tea and the tea ball you sell as a present. She left me a card today saying the tea was excellent and she was going to check out your other teas.

Bubble wrap your windows!! Cut the bubble wrap to fit the glass, use a spray bottle of water to mist the glass - the flat side of the wrap will stick to the glass with water. You can feel the difference!!

Its time for parents, grandparents pay more attention to the kids, and grandkids, do fun stuff outside with the kids, in the winter you can build snowmen, go sledding,ice skating, etc .. summertime go to the parks and walk and talk to them, go swimming, visit the children's museum, go to the library. Go to the zoo. Just get out and look at the trees, lakes or beaches, vacation to a different state.. spend time with them, they love it...

One thing that I learned that has been very healing for my teeth is to massage below the gum line where the stem cells (?) supposedly are. I am using a system from a lady that has been a dentist for decades that you all would not use. But it has healed my cavities and sensitivity above my caps I have in the back that my gums have receded. I think oil pulling is great with coconut oil too. Just my 2c

I have warned my pastor - he and I are praying against it - you know that -40⁰ to -60⁰ temps is going to be very hard on our livestock. People need to be prepared to drain their pressure tanks and house water lines. Start storing water for this event now. 5-gallon buckets work. You can bathe/shower at the beginning of the event and do bird baths during the worst of it. Keeping your animals safe *is going to be messy* but alive is better than frozen to death. Put smaller animals in your basement or garage, and plan on/expect the electric going out. This is going to be a more severe event than any of us have ever seen. The Lord bless you all.

We just installed a 26K generator. Uses a 200 gal propane tank. And we have a 200 gal propane tank for the house stove, heater and hot water. We have BBQ with 5 gal tanks.

People should NOT! be afraid to think alternatively to home or apartments that are stressful condos and rental units, etc. Got children? ok I comprehend the need. Dont have children? get a nice van long or standard size. The only problem with recreational vehicles are some place are bias against them and too when you find a sweet spot keep your proximity neat even if you have to pick up left of trash. Let people know the reasons they should help keep blessed areas neat and respectful. Live toward the goal.❤

If you want clean glass on your fireplace glass. Use 409 cleaner and a warm glass (not too hot) and a stainless steel scrubby for the really stuck on. Hope that helps. I think I’d like to put a piece of plate steel in place of glass. Let’s all pray for wisdom to navigate this trying time. Blessings to all!❤

I use baking soda and a coffee filter to clean the glass on our wood stove.

Glass stove top cleaner. You have to use it a few times to rub it around in circles and clean it off. Use water also after you clean it with the stove top cleaner to get the stuff off.

Fog has been bad here in the fox river valley. People are complaining about not feeling well and extremely tired. My buddy heater takes two coleman tanks. 11 hours on low. $9.99 at walmart for a two pack. It has low oxygen shut off, I use it all the time to keep my van warm.

We are in charge of what we let out kids n grandkids. I homeschool my granddaughter!!! I can lead the horse to water but I can't make them drink ..... Thank you for this one

Super cloudy, misty here in nevada this past week. The sun peaked out for 30m and I ran outside to get some sun! Also, a little bit ago I was up super early and the sky was beautiful bright blue. By the time I finished feeding outside I looked up and there were criss cross lines all over, so many directions in the skies slowly spreading out. Boy was I bummed out. They had to take away the beautiful blue skies! Ugh

It's been sunny up here in Alberta this week.. -9 Celsius so much better. Last January Alberta was hit with a massive deep freeze. Almost -50 celsius. (It was sunny then too) Alberta had to get power from Montana and Saskatchewan, and an emergency alert went out on our cel phones and TV, for everyone to stop using power or the system would shut down. No power means no heat which means freezing to death. This province immediately turned off all unnecessary things and our power didn't go out. Our vehicles wouldn't start, our water from the well was frozen, and our sewer pipes froze, and the hot water tank broke because it had no water in it. But I had heat, so all was good. Camp toilet, boiled water on my stove to wash dishes, and took showers and did laundry at our kid's houses until it finally warmed up enough for septic and plumber to work outside to fix things. I do hope North Carolina flood victims will be warm if the cold hits their area.

Hi Ohio! Question from Texas: what’s the followup on the toxins from the train derailing, that was so poorly managed by the government? We over here followed the many train “coincidental accidents” carrying toxic cargo around the US, prayed for you and everybody downwind and downstream (all the Mississippi!!!) but thought here in Texas we were OK. Nope, the hazardous clean up waters from your place were brought here and injected in the soil!!! Of course nothing made public, thank God for the few honest whistleblowers.
