So, in particular, these couple of episodes are really rushed compared to the manhwa. These should’ve been a couple of episodes longer and mentioned more. 1 thing i really think they should've mentioned is not only did Bam copy Quants technique, it took Quant hundreds of years to master it and Bam picked it up immediately. But yeah, if it feels like its a bit unnecessarily fast or theres a lack of explanation, its mostly due to them cramming a lot of chapters into these eps.

In the manwha, when Quant paralyzes Bam and tells him to copy the technique, his inner thoughts say that it took him hundreds of years to master that technique, but he just wanted to give Bam some hope.

The thirteen month series are ignition weapons. They are not the only ones, just really good ones. There seems to be some hoops to go through to get them to ignite, depending on the weapon. When ignited they can do new, cooler things, but they still have stuff they can do while unignited.

I'm glad I'm watching with you guys. Half the time I can't tell what's going on with the plot, until the final result...or maybe I'm just dumb lol. Bam's naivety and inflexibility worries me tho. Might backfire seriously later on.

3:07 Oh the king is very much still alive. The way characters talk about him is in present tense basically. Like in episode 1 where Headon/Evan said Yuri would be executed if the king ever found out she lended out a 13th month to anyone (to an irregular even!) since that is strictly forbidden. From the manhwa at this point and the author’s blog posts you can deduce that the king is not necessarily a very active/hands on ruler currently, but that he’s still around. I doubt any of the characters we’ve seen ever met him, except for Headon (special administrator, since he selects regulars he can teleport all over the tower), Evan Edrok (official guide/navigator of the royal family) and Yuri (RANKER princess and owner of a 13th month). It is not clear if any of the other rankers we’ve seen ever met the king. Probably not (the tower is HUGE). Maaaaaybe test administrator Yu Hansung (coffee turtle!) since he’s 2nd in command on the test floor, or his boss, the ruler of floor 2, Evankhell (only mentions of her at this point, we have not seen her).

23:55 Went straight from “Endorsi is evil” to “aww sweet she wants to climb the tower with Anaak”. 😅 But I don’t blame you. Blame the tower! It’s not really that Endorsi (or Ho either) is evil. It’s more that the tower is a really cutthroat unfair crapsack world (see Serenas “conversation” with the dead Ho) and they are just trying to survive with what they got. They don’t feel they have the “luxury” to be able to care for just anybody, only the ones that are truly on their own team. “Welcome to tower of betrayal!” Bam on the other hand is more idealistic and doesn’t want to backstab people to climb. He didn’t even want to climb in the first place, just find Rachel! And now that he has…what will happen now?

Hatz was put as a scout cause hes loyal and hes a supreme solo battler. The very job of a scout is to act solo and be successful not just be stealthy. Fisherman are supposed to the center of team battles where lots of support is present and all the fights show hatz doesnt need that

There are multiple ways to be a good scout. Strong enough to handle any skirmishes alone, smarts, speed, sneaking etc… Hatz definitely falls into the first category.

ignishion weapon ignite a raw power or new form with new abuility for the weapon.. kinda like character turn 'super' the sword from this episode was narumada (something alike).. and as you could tell its not part of the 13th month ignition weapons series.

You can just pronounce Rachel the normal English way. Some people insist it's meant to be pronounced like Hebrew way, but SIU said her names inspired by A.C. Doyle's Sherlock Holmes case A Study in Scarlet, which would mean the German word "rache", it's probably a happy coincidence of the two. But both ways, the German 'ch' or the Hebrew 'he', are guttural consonants pronounced from the throat, not the English 'h' sound you're making. Korean does have the guttural hiss but the sound is completely lost in the Japanese translation. So please just say Rachel normally, you sound silly saying "Rahel", and you know it, you all hesitate to even say it, and literally no one is expecting you to try pronouncing it gutturally or like you're Japanese people. I get that you're just pronouncing what you hear, but if that's what you feel you should do then you should also be pronouncing Bam as "Yoru" since that's what they changed his name to in Japanese (both words translate to night).

24:00 Shibisu, or in some transliterations “Ship Leesoo”, the first is how it’s how the say it in the Japanese anime, the second might be closer to the Korean pronunciation? (I don’t know Korean)

tower of god manga vs anime.. the anime did the dirtiest to quant.. well and rak by turning cool predetor with deep insites to comedy relief.. but quant had reason for every step of the way... and it broken up in the anime (for example.. this exam had safe zone for the regulars which the ranker can't touch them if they reach - thats why quant couldn't stop hoh's plans) omg a character self suicide with all the depration of "i've lost everything" "there nothing left for me" and i can't imagine something more hurtfull if someone last words would be "i hate (specificly) you" B team could avoid all crisises if only khun was there..
