I apologize for crying guys 💔 I felt so embarrassed that I almost didn't want to upload this reaction, after filming it. It was a hard one for me. Everything about this song hit me right in the feels and touched me to the core and I couldn't hold back my tears. But I totally loved Chris's vocals, his words, the story and the message behind this beautiful sad song ❤️

I have been a fan of Chris Stapleton for the past 6 years or so and love his vocal talent. I'm also a sucker for reaction videos and love the pure emotion you showed! It takes a true artist to take you through that journey in a few short minutes! Thanks for the video!

Never apologize for showing genuine emotion. Chris doesn't usually do videos and I usually recommend live performances as he actually seems better live (Like "Tennessee Whiskey" and "I Was Wrong" both at the Austin City Limits performance). This is one of the exceptions as he had a message to deliver here and I believe they did a masterful job. If it saves one life he succeeded.

In the midst of a reunion of sorts with people mingling and partying, I heard this song a week ago. Asked the host to tell me what the song was and he texted the title and author to me. I did not even hear the words clearly. It was just the emotion and the music that struck me. Just now got around to hearing the various renditions, live and produced. This led me to the two of you. Thank you for the honest and heartfelt evaluation. Your insight and analysis was indeed inspired. As a casual observer of humanity, the two of you are blessed with a maturity and balance that is uncommon in our present world. Peace. ☮️

Never be afraid of showing your emotions, it is a sign of strength rather than weakness. Chris is in the video though you might not have noticed him. He is the bar tender who served the drinks. Chris doesn't do music videos. His record label kept asking him till he agreed but only under some non-negotiable conditions. One, that he not appear in it singing or performing. Two, that he got to help choosing the actors and the production of it. Three, that he chooses the topic and writes the song. The result was Fire Away, a song about something he cares about, depression and suicide.

I just found your channel. You both caught the feel of the song in a very timely manner. Don't worry about showing emotion when you listen to country. It generally is honest and blunt to a fault. He is an excellent singer, composer and writer. If you want to explore some of his other offerings try "I was wrong", "Cold", "Death Row" or "Starting over". Knock those out and we'll set up some more for you. You might also like an accapella group called Home Free. They have a cover of an old R&B song "When a man loves a woman". It is impressive.

I been a fan of Chris stapleton for a little while now and idk why i haven't come across this song before now.. This hit like a fridge to the face. I was not expecting that right now. Music can be so powerful and can make you feel something in seconds.. Its a beautiful thing.. I really liked this song and big up to Chris for writing this song and bringing out the topic about depression and being bipolar. Those are some topics that needs to be more talked about. And never apologise for how you feel, if you wouldn't have felt anything listening to this song then I'd be worried.. Thats how you felt nothing wrong with that. I got teary eyed myself listening to this.. Love the reaction. Much love from Norway..

When you talk about putting words together in an absolutely beautiful way you get into pretty mystical company. William Shakespear, William Faulkner, Ernest Hemingway and now Chris Stapleton. This is a beautiful song but I cry every time. It's sucks when you love a woman and there's nothing you can do to make her feel good. You can't make her believe in herself, you can't show her how much you need her. If she doesn't need her you will lose her and it's the most heart breaking thing that will ever happen. Because you try to fool yourself like you could have stopped it somehow, but you can't. God love these lost souls and please let them know they were loved here on earth even if they didn't know.

This video always hits me hard because it reminds me of my wife and all the amazing memories of her and love we had she had the most amazing smile that i miss so much. But at the same time she also mirrored all the same struggles shown in this video and I had alot of the same experiences portrayed in this aswell. She found me when i was at my worst and pulled me out of the depths of hell and she saved me and I tried so hard to save her but in the end I failed and for that ill never forgive myself. She was only 31 years old the world was so much briter with her in it, the gods made a mistake they should have taken me not her so now It just leaves me waiting for my turn for tomorrow not to come for the chance to hold her again. I miss her so fucking bad every second of every day. Thanks for the reaction and the conversation your reacts to songs like this help me to process and remember and really helps to not feel so alone being imprisoned in my own 4 walls
