I think there are quite a few moments where Jim is socially awkward. Look at his interactions with Roy when confronted over his crush on Pam. Jim can be a very passive aggressive person who rarely comes out and states his displeasure with something. I know, because I have that trait as well. Look at his interactions with Andy in Season 3. I started watching The Office last weekend and am on Season 4. What have I been doing with my life to have missed out on this show so long? I’ve watched a lot of other sitcoms and this one is amazing too. Literally watched this episode today.

Character analysis: This is a pivotal scene that seals Jim and Pam's relationship. He "burned the bridge" with Karen, and in a way, Jim burned Utica to the ground.

This is probably my favourite scene in the show. I just can’t get over the cringe and Jim’s facial expressions when Karen is going at it and just how realistic it feels as well.

I don't understand why people hate Pam for not letting Jim pursue his dreams, when Pam went to art school they weren't married but when it comes to Jim's dream job, they had kids and Pam was selfish same goes for Jim when he broke up with Karen. Everybody has their own past, so it's completely human for them to make mistakes. FYI Jim and Pam are meant to be together so are Karen and her husband.

Man, the traffic around the Utica branch must be like world famous terrible!! Think about it, Karen has these goofs break in, and ruin her copier, trash her office, let alone one of them is her EX, and he mentions his new lady, and yet as soon as Jim mentioned the traffic, she understood and encouraged him to try and beat it!
