We will not go hungry - Canning coleslaw, Strawberry Glaze, Freezing Guacamole and Pico De Gallo

When you don't know what tomorrow might look like you tend to save anything you can. Especially if you get it for free. I'm taking on new tasks, learning new things and saving money at the same time. It's out of my comfort zone, but my family will not go hungry. I wish for everyone sustainable meals for their family. Buy what you can with what you have, source what you can and preserve anything you cannot use before wasting

When canning, one should always use an approved recipe for safety sake. Botulism is deadly.

You’re right and I work hard to follow the rules on acidity, elevation, process times, etc. I thought I used a good source with Canning & Cooking at Home. Maybe I should invest in some of those basic ball canning and collegiate proven recipe books to add a little assurance. Thank you - genuinely 🙏
