@@galaxy_kitten95 it's not really a KZbin thing, it's more like Tumblr, reddit, 4chan, that type of platform etc. The full phrase is "Would you take the deal to get paid 10 mil (the amount obviously varies), but an immortal snail will start chasing you and if it ever touches you, you die" Sometimes the reward is switched to immortality, but yeah that's the basic idea. Also yk you having been on KZbin since you were 12 doesn't actually say much, you could be 13 for all I know lol

Lmao, that wasn't the original source. it got passed around the internet for so long that people assume itself from Reddit or Tumblr No, the Immortal Snail chasing you was from Rooster Teeth originally, from one of their older podcast and then later animated. But due to the nature of the internet's longevity and scope, it got lost to time until it got a resurgence in these past few years but people constantly got the origin wrong

The rules aren’t the same as what garnt was going on about The general issue is just that any attempt to contain it means banking on it staying under there no matter what Since it’s immortal, eventually it’ll get out of there somehow since nothing is forever Let’s say an earthquake happens and knocks the cup down or something falls busting it open Or someone accidentally trips over it. Since your plan hinges on it always being there, what are you gonna do the day you learn it escaped by surprise? Same extends to any safe or chest you toss it in. One of the main ways to actually beat it is to basically just Kars’ yourself and toss one of you into space.

It still wouldn't work. The premise of It Follows is that the curse gets transmited from person to person, but when one of them is killed, then the monster goes back on the list and murders each one of the previous curse bearers. So even if what you suggested was acceptable by the rules of the curse, once the neighbour's dog gets killed it will go back to you. When the movie was released, people suggested going to a distant country, let's say Thailand if you're from the US/ Europe, and hook up with a popular prostitute there. Then, tell her about the curse to ensure she keeps on working, as that would ensure she's never the target long enough to be killed even if each of her clients is. Also, pay her a weekly stipend in exchange for information to know she's still alive and working. It just takes one client being a prostitute addict or something, plus the geographical distance just in case, and you would be pretty safe for very long.

For the language thing, I think if their minds are exchanged, then a) they'd have their own language skills, not that of each other's, and b) they'd have their own accents but with each other's voice pitches. This would mean, for example, Joey would wake up and ask, "Why am I at your place?" and Sydney would ask him, "Garnt, what do you mean _my_ place? And why are you speaking in an Australian accent?"
