So Leafpool and Ashfur think they're in love, but Squirrelflight comes. She still seems normal in her relationship with Brambleclaw. EXCEPT Brambleclaw loves Leafpool. But Leafopool doesn't love him back. Instead, Ashfur loves Brambleclaw. Due to Leafpool's rejection, he's ready to accept Ashfur's paw in marriage. But Squirrelflight jumps in to defend her mate. Leafpool is sad that Ashfur loved Brambleclaw more than her, and was disgusted that Brambleclaw loved her. Ashfur tries to get her back, but Leafpool rejects him. He did just propose to Brambleclaw a second ago! Leafpool realizes that all along she should've stayed with Crowfeather. This is a shipping mess.

My nitpick: In this drawing, along with multiple others, ash fur is drawn with 6 marks on his forehead. They don’t explain this in the books and I’m left not able to sleep at night wondering HOW MANY MARKS THERE ACTUALLY ARE ON HIS HEAD.

Warriors would have been so much better if TigerHeart/Star had 27 stripes on his back, instead of the most cannon design where he had 25. I'm appalled, so much so I burned every book with his name anywhere in it.
