Improve your Grip Strength. During the last weeks I got a lot of comments. So I read them and then I take a topic I find relevant and create a video about it.
1.Let me know in the comments section, How many are going to try these exercises?
2. What do find difficult in your training and what would you like to see more videos about?

As I write this, I’m currently in physical therapy for bicep tendonitis. At home I don’t have any materials to help me recover other than frozen food. I ordered this packet of kzbin.infoUgkx010hhy8hzepHnne4VtzOtUictDZeYMTF so that I may heal faster. They are great! Good grip movements, steady and hard resistant levels, and fun! Thank you!

I'v missed this type of videos that you used to make. I used to download and play them while I was working out. I watched your videos thousands of times. I do not exaggerate. You are my expiration in calesthenics. Thank you brother. 💪 all those 1000 reps under 90 min sessions you were my workout partner without you knowing it. I dropped about 60 lb of disgusting fat in past two years and I got from not even one pull up to 10 restrict form dead hang pull ups with 40 lb extra. I also aimed to 1000 push up in a row set challenge for my birthday but I managed over 680 of it. Thank you again

About a year ago I realised I couldn't do much on the bar cause my forearms were so we like couldn't even hang from the bar with two arms for that long. What I did to fix it was just practice hanging every day with scapular retraction and without. Eventually I could do one armed(make sure you do both arms). Then I started tree climbing and that helped a lot. Now I do a lot of monkey bars for as long as I can. I can do just over one minute hanging on each arm now. I strongly suggest training for the one arm hang cause grip is such an important part of callisthenics

quick tip: I do the shovel and farmer type exercises for manipulating a sword or axe for medieval combat. you want to super supinate and super pronate your wrists as much as possible when performing those exercises. Also if for the forward tilt you lower your hand so that your elbow is about 30Degrees and point your sword to the ground and then pull it up the weight from it's tip never lightens. it stays heavy throughout the motion. you will also want to hang it down your back and pop it up as vertical as you can without moving your elbow down or forward. further you can point it out at extension and draw zig zags vertically side to side write your name circles etc. Lastly you can point the lever at the wall and with either hand move your hand and arm in a U shape in front of you without moving the tip or the lever.

I tried the one-arm hang six months ago and it killed my shoulder, bursitis, rotator cuff, PAIN was the results. Lucky for me it healed up in 3 months with injections from orthopedist, and rehab with physical therapist.

I have 14 inch forearms, straight armed and unflexed. All these exercises are great I've trained them all. Try club bells, they are superior to several of the exercises shown, not to diminish or discourage any of them. Also increasing the diameter of the bar as you get stronger is helpful too.

It took me four months of dedicated (recorded progressive overload) practice, plus casual dead hangs before that, just to get to number one on the list. This looks less like "weak grip" exercises and more "intermediate to advanced grip" exercises. But, hey, thanks for what you have to offer from your years of dedication and to people watching this: take what you can and work within your means, guys. Check out Convict Conditioning 2 for a progressive outline of grip and hanging work. I personally suggest investing in a rice tub. Rice tub exercises help warm up the hands, wrists, and shoulders and it doesn't feature load so I would think they would suit beginners very well.

Thanks, some good moves there, like the broom handle. I use to spray stain, sand & seal on 30 pieces of Furniture a day from small desk to 8 drawer dresser & I carried them into the next room with just my finger tips under the Top. At first it was hard to walk very far carrying furniture on my finger tips, Months later I could hold a big heavy dresser for a long time walking with just my finger tips, that wrist strength development helped me avoid carpal tunnel syndrome that many of my co-workers at a rubber boot making factory assembly line were getting left & right, especially women. I would add carry empty dresser around with finger tips, empty, then add drawers & build weight A GREAT Wrist development exercise!

You're probably right lol, those are just the main that who train in calisthenic, especially in exercise like muscle up, will probably get. en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Epicondylitis All form of this can happen. My personal trainer said that those comes from not properly retracting scapula or "twisting" elbows. Hope that can help

I do Scaff-bar Jacks. My bar is actually a pull up bar with rubber chair feet stuck in the ends so I can put on the floor vertically. Just grip it at the top and do squats but use Ur upper body as much as U can to - negative down and positive up. Its crazy effective. I am just getting started with it and it burns. Try sets of 7 5 3 1 reps with two of each one for each grip alternation :) ... I guess its a progression to the rope climb but on its own its pretty much a full body excercise & awesome Man Cave by the way that is THE BEST!

I like the simplicity of the gym the most. One could do pretty much any type of workout there without the need to big, expensive machines...

I also think that twisting a rag or towel to your maximum power helps with grip a lot.

Is like saying that this man is preparing to have sex tonight. Anybody would think that it was the first time of watching somebody stretching or doing sports, or that the comenter doesnt respect the man doing his exercise. You choose if you havent seen yoga or dont respect the woman. Hopefully it was your first time and your parents educated you well to respect women and people in general.

@@reslas10 Yes, I know yoga, and I do respect the lady on the video. Its just a joke. I just don't think there's nothing disrespectfull with sex, man. Acctualy, we all was born after our parents have sex. It's life. Hugs and have great new year.

Nothing surprising about sex. But if you see a girl doing exercise and you comment about her having sex...that is disrespectful. Normally guys we dont get it after thinking about this and normally it takes time. Happy new year to everybody. Here another joke: the guy in the video is getting ready to have sex. Really funny!

i would also like to addjar gripping (take a jar as wide as you can phisically grip your fingers around the mouth of, fill it with water or sand and hold it out from you for as long as you can depending on how you hold it, straight out will also work the shoulders, straight down and the angle you did the farmer wrist works will do just wrists and forarm) another one is dumbbell finger curls, take a dumbbell, around 5 to 10 pounds hold your arm straight down and roll the dumb bell to the tip of your fingers without dropping it and then pull it back up into the palm of your hand, their good workouts
