thanks for this. I just bought a G level and though it was too easy, so I've ordered next one up, but the minute hold has shown me I aint all that :D

You’re welcome, with the heavy one, you could try mixing 10 second holds with 10 “squeezes”. Also mix how you have your arm, straight down by your side or straight out like you’re holding a spray bottle.

Been using gripper for 1 year but not the coc one i use the adjust grip 5-60 i set to max 60kg i can do 1 minute hold and 30-60 reps each hand and my hand just look veiny and also the thumb muscle getting big same as yours
@homeJim
@homeJim Жыл бұрын
The thumbs could be accredited to video games 😂, I never really noticed. Also there are many other exercises to strengthen your hands, such as forearm training. I have some videos on that on my channel.

How many sets and reps, and rest days?

Everyday is fine to work your grip strength, unless you feel it fatigues you in other exercises than I would stick to doing grippers on days you work your forearms. Mix holds and collapsing the gripper for a more intense workout.

I love the G gripper cause its so easy,lol. MAkes me wanna do a shitton or reps but the temptation to is bad because then you burnout before going to the #1.

Do wrist curls with a dumbbell. Easier on your finger bones and works out the exact same muscle group.

yes, this does work your forearm but the primary focus is hand strength. If you are having pain while using this, you may have to decrease the weight or take more rest. I have never received any injury while using this gripper.

@@homeJim you don’t seem to understand how muscles work. The muscles that move your hand are located in your forearm region - not the hand.
@LordRobrecht
@LordRobrecht 10 ай бұрын
@@deboxmojave6541 Indeed, the muscles that primarily move the hand are located in the forearm region, known as extrinsic muscles, and they play a pivotal role in hand and finger movements. However, it's also noteworthy to mention the intrinsic muscles within the hand itself, which are essential for finer, more precise movements and dexterity. And these intrinsic muscles can be trained effectively using Captains of Crush.

Unless you have arthritis, there is no reason why you should avoid direct high intensity grip training

@@deboxmojave6541i can make a video discussing how when squeezing your hand with this exercise you will create strength in your forearms, but the focus for this particular exercise is to build your grip endurance. I have had positive results in my hand grip and my forearms while using these grippers. Thank you for watching 😊
