Strength is not related to physical dmg and intelligence is not related to magical dmg. They're separate things. They're just 2 different types of scaling. Like in Dark Souls, some weapons scale with strength, some with dexterity, but they still deal the same type of dmg. Every god has either a hybrid scaling (both int and strength) or they scale with only one of the two, regardless of the type of dmg they deal. The only universal rule for every god is that basic attacks scale (if I remember correctly) 80% strenght and 20% int.
