Everyone seems to forget that the so called lesser clubs in the premier league are getting stronger and stronger every season.. They don't get walked all over anymore because they have the finances to refuse to sell their key squad players.. I remember the days when the rich clubs like Man United would just win game after game season after season and it was a bore fest because the league wasn't very competitive.. Thank god for the broadcasting funds for the lesser clubs because it's made the premier league more competitive and the likes of Man United have to win the league rather than buy it..

What, like city and Liverpool? The league is the most uncompetitive it’s ever been. We are just over halfway through the season and it’s as good as done. Teams winning with over 100 points….don’t tell me the league is competitive. Other teams outside the “big 6” are fighting for their lives on the pitch and financially. Don’t tell me as an Everton fan we haven’t had to sell all of our best players. Richarlison, Gordon, Digne etc etc and still get done with PSR. It’s an absolute mockery. Man United would have had a massive points deduction this season if it wasn’t for the league looking the other way to the tune of £74 million.

United defo in a stronger position after this window when you look at the actual reality of the situation on the ground: - With respect, Antony was taking up valuable time, effort, space and overall resources. - Rashford was not playing, so unless his brother/family were to start advising him according to what is best for him, which seems unlikely, then that situation needed to end. I would guestimate that toxicity levels in Carrington have decreased up to 90%. - Dorgu will play now as we really needed a LWB, I would argue more than a striker, and especially now Licha is out so Dalot will play LCB. What would have been the point on rushing into buying a forward when we are neither going to get relegated nor qualify for CL via the league. Perhaps we could win the EL ,lets see.

@turbo9321 Sorry fella, with all due respect, I don't usually engage too deeply with those prone to hyperbole; obviously Onana is not the worst, rather the other end of the scale, despite a few dreadful errors this season. You don't rate Dorgu, ok fair enough, lets see I guess. I think we could have benefited from a loaned striker, but none of us are privy to the negotiations, but common sense tells me that INEOS would have tried. As you may know, we have two strikers which we wasted money on, I'm sure you don't want the same thing again, more caution was the order of the day. United are not getting relegated, I promise you buddy, don't believe everything you hear/read or else you will be stressed for no reason. Lets get through this season, hopefully with some foundations of play in the team and then kick on next year.

Everyone wanting Amorim out are impatient and can’t see the bigger picture. Give him 5/6 transfer windows and we’ll be playing just the way he wants. Then we can start judging. Long term fix to try and win the prem is going to require set backs, which we’re currently going through. It’s a good sign that things are changing. Otherwise we just keep changing managers and are content with challenging for top 6 for the next 2 decades. I’m more than happy to ride out the current season

We’re not weaker having got rid of Rashford and Anthony we’re better. Amorim tried Mainoo in a different position which didn’t work. At least Palace came to park the bus, last season every team that came to OT played us off the park so that’s progress.
