Jan Žižka himself ordered to burn a church full of adamites (Hussite fraction)... and this is just the tip of a iceberg... and btw, those wagon walls he copied from elsewhere (i think they used it in small scale during the german knigts campaign which battle of grünwald was part of)

Well, this could be the other way around as well. He exploited geography in such a way that in one of the most famous of his battles, his camp was on a hill and strong rain. Crusaders waited until it stopped raining before they attacked with heavy cavalry. But there's a catch. They were in a very low point in the land, basically a swamp, and don't get me started on how bad the terrain must've been after such a heavy rain. They all got stuck in the mud and then, Žižka ordered a counter attack and sent his troops to finish off the knights that didn't drown. A bunch of rebel peasants beating armored knights stuck in mud, drowning, to death with farming equipment. Sounds pretty unfair to me in this sense of a word.

In some odd way, his blindness might also have been a key advantage: Instead of using his own eyes (or well, eye), he had *several* pairs. Without any distraction from what his vision (human's most dominant sense), he could possibly focus extremely well on his mental imagery of the land (and it's proven that people who lose eyesight, but aren't born blind, do retain their ability to see mental images). And because his assistants knew they had to be precise, they probably examined the terrain with far more effort than regular scouts or commanders would. And, lastly, there's something mythical about a fully blind commander who continues doing his job (and exceptionally well), which means his soldiers probably saw a quasi-saint in him. That kind of leadership is an exceptional boost to morale, which was a key component of warfare then (even more so than it is currently, and even with modern scales and technoligies, Ukraine aptly demonstrated how invaluable morale is).

Reminder that the Hussite Rebellion features nudists (Adamites) fighting communists (Taborites) fighting a bunch of normal people who just had very specific opinions about the eucharist (Utraquists). Jan Žižka was originally on the Taborite side before he soured on their lack of discipline and overzealous nature (read: killing prisoners when he told them not to) and switched to the Orebites, a less-radical branch of the Taborites.

JAN HUS!???111!?!!? Charles IV, King of Bohemia and Holy Roman Emperor, had a long and successful reign. The Empire he ruled from Prague expanded, and his subjects lived in peace and prosperity. When he died, the whole Empire mourned. More than 7,000 people accompanied him on his last procession. The heir to the throne of the flourishing Empire was Charles' son, Wenceslas IV, whose father had prepared him for this moment all his life. But Wenceslas did not take after his father. He neglected affairs of state for more frivolous pursuits. He even failed to turn up for his own coronation as Emperor, which did little to endear him to the Pope. Wenceslas "the Idle" did not impress the Imperial nobility either. His difficulties mounted until the nobles, exasperated by the inaction of their ruler, turned for help to his half-brother, King Sigismund of Hungary. Sigismund decided on a radical solution. He kidnapped the King to force him to abdicate, then took advantage of the ensuing disorder to gain greater power for himself. He invaded Bohemia with a massive army and began pillaging the territories of the King's allies. It is here that my story begins...

This video excluded one of the most well known aspects of Žižka's leadership: The crusaders feared him and his army of villagers with farming gear so much that one time an entire crusader army ran away just hearing Žižka's army sing their song "Ktož sů boží bojovníci" (Whom are the God's warriors) from a distance. The crusaders were so scared shitless by these wagabonds singing about them being the true warriors of God that they scrambled before even getting a sight of them. Also, the reason he lost the first eye was because he took an arrow straight to his face, but he didn't let such a small inconvenience stop him from kicking ass Also also, he sieged casles (including the one he lost his eye at) by catapulting *_literal burning piles of shit over the walls,_* thus making the enemies sick and demoralised. *And it worked like a charm.*

I don't think he would. His strenght was defensive warfare. He could withstand the main attack with a few soldiers and then counterattack when the enemy cohesion broke. He also knew when to get away if the situation started to look unfavorable. He wasn't that good in sieges though. Still, whether one considers it Biblical History or not, it is still a very important event in the inter-testament period, and can rightfully be considered Biblical History, as the circumstances of the Maccabees sets the stage for the New Testament. For one, there would be no Pharisees or Sadducees were it not for the Hasmonean Period, with the latter being founded and later led by Alexandra Salome's brother, and the former being a reactionary group against the latter. And another, King Herod and his dynasty would not be a thing were it not for his father Antipater (Not to be confused with one of Alexander's Diadochi, also named Antipater)'s role in influencing the latter part of the Hasmonean Period, and the aforementioned King Herod being married to a daughter of the relative of one of the last Hasmonean rulers.
