@WeAllJuggleKnives I have been looking at their Bushcrafter III Convex edition for a while now . They have it at Knife County for about $65 , which comes with a nice leather sheath and D2 steel.

The Cold Steel Finn Wolf folder sort of has a guard, or at least a big contour to the handle.

Do you lose the full grind when sharpening it? The edge angle must be crazy low, around 15 degrees. I normally sharpen at 25 degrees.

That type of sharpening would put a micro bevel on it. However, I have heard some people use fine grit sandpaper, which can conform to the curve of the grind and keep it.

Flat grind is no 1 for everything

FG is definitely useful, I have that FFG Felix Immler fixed blade.
