So damn glad I listened to all of you guys talk about getting out of debt and actually did that years ago. We are retirees in LA County with NO pension except Social Security and hubbys VA disability. We are able to save 20% of our income and still live quite well. We ARE feeling the pinch, but only a little. Great advice about getting out of debt. I can't even imagine what it would be like to have a car payment, or credit card debt or student loans to pay off in this economy; even if we were both working at our old jobs. So, we are getting ready to take advantage of the market bubble blowouts and plan to buy a duplex, triplex or even a quad (which would be the best) and live in one and rent out the others as our first step. Really looking forward to our more "golden" years.

Congrats! Wife and I are in the same position and dear Lord is it a place of "peace". The real disaster lives in those in big debt and unwilling to embrace ratcheting down their standard of living. Best to you.

Congrats but would advise about being careful about owning rental property in California. Landlords were really screwed during the pandemic. I foresee a lot of protectionists laws being passed in favor of renters. Maybe another state? Good luck.

But we ARE supposed to be in a grand solar minimum (think major leauge ice age and yet we are not...hmmm) and then on top of that,this government is going to cut off our fossil fuel energy. It's gonna get real cold up north there. So, we may think about Arizona. But SoCal look good. Unless we go back to fossil fuels.

You say that “no one could have predicted the roll over of some of these large cap stocks”, but its not the case, Jeremy Grantham called this very situation on two separate interviews a year apart on Bloomberg. I’d actually have to agree here. He does a great, no, phenomenal job of interviewing and allowing his guests to speak. It’s actually so good, you’d think he’s done this for quite some time… Still! We’d also like to hear more of Adam’s PoV! Maybe do another format where you go back and forth with ideas. You do that with one of the guests, forgot his name (cool guy, but he thinks millennials eat too much avocado toast)

Is this a good time to buy stocks? I know everyone is saying stocks are at a discount and all, but just how long will It take for us to recover, obviously there are strategies to maneuver in this present market but these strategies doesn't come common to the average folk, or am I better off putting my money elsewhere?

@@philippllobet717 The uncertainties accompanying this present market is more reasons I have my daily investment decisions guided by a portfolio-coach seeing that their entire skillset is built around going long and short at the same time, both employing profit-oriented strategy and laying off risk as a hedge against the inevitable downtrends, coupled with the exclusive information/analysis, it's quite impossible not to outperform. Netted over $1.5m in return on investment, since using a coach for about 2years.

Mike Pinto is one of the best money managers out there, he never shovels BS or scenarios based on fear. You can count on a very fact based, real analysis, and he has been spot on with is forecast. While CNBC prints headlines and has quality guests like Tom Lee on to tell you the bear market is over "time to go all in" so I can get paid while you lose, Mike is thinking about his performance relative to his clients. Yesterday and today, I have witnessed the craziest Sh*% I've ever seen in the markets! Based on no data, no facts, no model, actually counter intuitive to every indicator out there, we blast up! FOMO on steroids to an exponential factor! Ok, I'll take your money if you want to give it to me, short, short short. I can wait as long as it takes.....But really, great content, great guest!! Thx!!
