Every time a household name like Warren makes a big move, it instantly creates uncertainty in the markets. 75% of my $400k portfolio comprises of plummeting stocks which were once revered. Do i liquidate and bear losses or just hold on?

Diversifying your investments can help you manage risk while aiming for solid returns. It might be a good idea to explore sectors that tend to do well during inflation, like utilities or real estate. Also, seeking the help of a financial advisor could be really beneficial. They can provide you with tailored guidance and help you develop a strategy that aligns with your goals.
@Joeknowsball24727 күн бұрын
I agree with you. I started out with investing on my own, following some random trends but I lost a lot of money. I was able to pull out about $200k after the 2023 crash. I invested the money using an analyst, and in seven months, I raked in almost $673,000

Buffet was also selling when the pandemic hit, a great entry point for people of my generation (30s, 40s) and a great period for stocks overall. My question is do you think it's a good time to consider selling some stocks too? I’m considering rebalancing my $2M portfolios and curious for the best strategies to do so.

I agree. Exactly why I now work with one. A lot of folks downplay the role of advisors until being burnt by their emotions, no offense. Apart from the fact bitcoin actually has useful properties. I went across the world to buy my boat - it cost me nothing to transport it across a border, no capital controls could stop me and I needed no permission from a Bank to transact. @@villhelm just watched a video on when the big players that have a million or more of Bitcoin n they try to liquidate it, can take up to a month. I always question when somebody compares today’s market to 1929. They did not have 401(k) back then, that people contribute to every paycheck. They did not have IRAs and other types of investments, along with today’s online trading technology. The market will always have corrections when it comes to price, but those create great buying opportunities, and we should not fear them.

But everyone says it doesn't produce anything, or do anything. The only value the dollar has is the value we give it. And its purchasing power is down to two cents of what it used to be. As i'm learning about bitcoin it seems like a monetary system much more stable than our worthless paper dollar. Look at the venezuelan currency is basically toilet paper.
