I have NO patience for boring meetings, and it’s all your fault, Chad! Thanks for the advice, but I still can’t help but tune out when organizers don’t do their job. So my technique is this: I just find a plausible excuse or my expensive fiber optic connection mysteriously drops out. And I go for a walk. But seriously, I’m often the organizer myself and I feel tremendous pressure to make sure meetings and training sessions are useful and enjoyable. Not sure if I always manage it, but I’ll die trying. Your playful ideas and suggestions are there every time. Thank you!

Ha! Sorry to have poisoned your mind with possibility. It does happen just like that. I've started attending boring meeting with a blank notebook and write and doodle the entire time answering the question: how could this be better? It turns a boring meeting into an exercise for me 👍👍

I spend a looooooooooooooootttttt of time of being amazing!! Ha ha ha ha I find one of the best ways to stay alert is to have an object in my background and throughout the meeting I subtly move it or change the item. So if I find a buzzword like "pop" I will make a bowl of popcorn and leave that on the shelf behind me bc let's be real people be nosy. Another great way is to have a small letter board or LED sign with a phrase that will catch the other viewer's eyes. Those are my tips for the time! Happy training my friends!

This comment is going to inspire to change up the objects sitting on the desk in my background more often!!! Thanks for the inspiration.

@@chad.littlefield you got it Chad! It'll be great to shamelessly plug you items like your books, that handy pyramid, or your foam eye/nose tossables. BTW glad I could join your session yesterday it was such a great bday present bc the energy in the space was awesome! Can't wait for more connection!

You are taking too long to get to the point.

Ha! I appreciate the honest feedback, Kerstin. Heads up for any future videos you pop into, they are all time stamped in the scroll bar, so you can jump to exactly what you are looking for. I don't tend to have patience for "fluff" either.
