The cool thing about these animations is that for different units (Delta, GROM, SAS, etc...), they do things a bit differently. The SEALs, for example, reload the HK416 differently than the GROM guys. In fact, in an interview, one of the developers said that he got different responses from the different Tier 1 operators on how to do things for the same weapon.

This game had a lot of potential because it was made by the producers of the Battlefield series (which I love). I love the animations and the detail on the weapons, and the multiplayer is more hardcore (in my opinion). The only problem is is that it has a small community. :(

Davenzoid Guns are accurately represented, reloading, the sights, and little details on the guns. Remember the developers asked seals about this. Next, there are features like leaning, and healing up or getting ammo from teamates. Finally is the immense customization

Zach Conant i guess youre right, but i think thats also why it never took off as highly as cod or bf. Note that i dont play cod OR bf, i think cod offers an arcade experience for the little kids, bf offered a little bit more hardcore shooter, with huge engagements and a bit of complexity. An arcade-y shooter with even some complexity would drive away a lot of people that are used to the earlier styles of games.

Davenzoid Yup. However, bf has taken many features, like going to a squad member to get ammo/hp and leaning, etc. I guess you could say it was ahead of its time with complexity like that. The AK-103 is a hybrid rifle of a Ak-47 and the P90. It's made to have high rate of fire easy reload and high accuracy. Pretty much a spec ops gun if you want to categorize it.

For such impressive customization and just simple rendering they had in this game, they sure did miss a lot of little stuff like leaving the AKs' safeties on, wrong fire selector positions, etc. That being said you'd never see these if they weren't in slomo or you were playing SUPER close attention

You are indeed correct, MoH:W is a game, I don't really find that to be a reason to get sloppy though, but since most people don't notice or care, it works out for them just fine :)

Hey, people complain of the minor mistakes, but Call of duty has the WHOLE shotgun reload done wrong. SO WRONG that a friends saw me play battlefield and he was like "Why does he load a shell into the side, thats stupid" ... ... ... Wut? For once it's done as should. Bolt back. drop first shell in, bolt forward, now the weapon is ready to fire immediately, then you can add more shells to magazine if you have time, and now you have max shells it can hold. In some semiauto shotguns you can have +1+1 ghost shell in to the ramp aswell.

yes this models aren't from bf3, but as I said above, frostbite uses models, sounds and animations to these versions, in order that the case is MOH:W uses bf3 files.

It's actually an AKU-94 I think, which they name AK-103 Bullpup because it is seen with an AK-103 style flash hider. It is simply an AK-47 conversion into a bullpup rifle, using the same reciever and magazine. Basically the same gun but with the magazine behind the trigger :P

BTW @ Blood Rath that isn't the Peacekeeper at 3:16, it is a PDW (Personal Defense Weapon) version of the SCAR-H. It features a lighter buttstock, chambering mechanisms, shorter barrel length, and lower caliber. I think it's the newest from FN industries, but I'm not quite sure. I haven't researched this weapon yet.,

its funny how they put in the detail of the bolt catch popping up on empty but on the AR variants the fire select is always on semi, the AK fire select is on safety, and with almost all of the pistols the hands don't actually manipulate the mag release or the slide release.

Yup MAR89TUM said it you need atleast 90 if not 120 for good slow motion, if you've tried it you'd know, if you record at anything less then the distortion between frames when you use either time remapping in AE or Twixtor or Finalcut's slow motion tools for that matter, would be too high. Twixtor has the telltale distortion, whereas AE and FC only have more blur the less FPS you have. When you look at a wall any game it actually does render what is behind it (for bullet penetration/destruction)
