99% of the videos are on caviar leather and am glad to have found yours. I am definately saving for a lambskin medium flap this year and as an OCD freak, me and the lambskin leather will get along just fine lolllll.

I have both caviar and lambskin in black small classic flap, shw, 2020. I decided to sell my caviar. I had the caviar medium in 2014 and sold it for the same reason; looks like plastic, and for the money, it should be luxurious. Another thing...My SA told me that caviar and calfskin will not "rub out" scratches, whereas lambskin will. Also, caviar tends to lose its structure, maybe because it is believed to be hardier. Actually, the opposite is true; lambskin will outperform caviar in durability, and it develops a beautiful sheen over time, whereas the caviar tends to dull.

Fingers crossed!....just ordered a preloved Mini Rectangular in Lambskin! Following my heart, because I am not a fan of the look of caviar. I will keep you posted...thank you for the review and wear and tear 3 years later!

I have extra mini in lamb for 6 years I’ve used it tons, no scratches at all, corners are very good as well.

Thank you the video! I have to agree with you about lambskin, it is delicate, but it is not as bad as people think. I have a vintage lambskin small double flap for 20 years and it's still going strong. I don't use conditioner or cleaner on it, I do have minor scratches, maybe I will use the conditioner to buff out the scratches. I don't have the inside zipper issue. I have the lambskin, sheepskin, and caviar and all of them are amazing pieces, I don't abuse my bags nor do I baby them.I rotate my handbags and wallets out every month. Thanks again for the video. I'm in a market to buy my daughter a the 2.55, thought I watch the reviews to see if any material/workmanship has changed through out the years. Thank again.

I just purchased lambskin because it looks much much prettier ... but still struggling to exchange for a caviar because I'm afraid I will damage it on my first use Btw can you tell how much you use the bag over three years? +Karen Chui I'm glad it was helpful! When I first bought it, I used it about 3-4 times a week for the first couple of months and then the 2nd and 3rd year I mostly use it on the weekends only. It's held up really great considering the amount of use and although it's not as carefree as caviar, I really think lambskin is just so so so stunning. I usually lay it flat.

I still use it for dressier events but not so much for day to day. I wouldn't say the bag is heavy at all when all filled up, but again it doesn't fit as much as let's say the jumbo size.

Thank you for the review. Do you get slight creasing on the back of your bag along the line between the "dimples" on the sides from opening and closing the flap? My lambskin jumbo is brand new and it has very light wrinkles on the back right where the double flap is attached.

There's very very slight creasing on mine. I think to prevent more creasing you would just have to be careful not to open it too wide so it doesn't stretch too much but I wouldn't worry about it!

I would still choose it in terms of the durability and looks, but I think if I had it in caviar, I might have been using the bag more because it can be used more casually too. I find myself reaching this bag for dressier events only nowadays while I find my caviar bags are easier to use for both dressy and casual events!

Ying Li Lo hi there I was asking myself the same question but I've decided to choose the medium flap over the coco handle. Better quality leather, fully leather lined, maintains its value better and has more structure unlike the coco handle which can be prone to sagging after a while. Hope that helps :)

+clara seoh Hi! I've actually never tried to clean/wipe this bag at all. So far it's been very clean like I mentioned in the video. I'd recommend checking out thepurseforum for tips on taking care of lambskin!

+clara seoh Hi, never ever use baby wipes on lambskin, or any bag, but espessially not on lambskin. It stains and dries out the leather!!
