In my legal State, I can buy 8g of 25% thc for 60$ at a dispensery whose funds go to the state and education. My guy here probably died over 90s quality garage herb. These states could bring a safer quality and venue to their citizens, could but selling 6$ a gram makes less than a $200 - $600 court fine for that same gram.

I can tell you this sheriff is a filthy criminal racketeer equal as guilty as this man and woman. Because Florida refuses to sell recreational marijuana, this reason for robbery is all because of Florida law enforcement who is against legalization. The Florida sheriff's association is culpably negligent. Florida could have done more to legalize recreational marijuana. That way there's no reason for people to Rob other people because they could just buy it at the store. That sheriff should be charged just like these two. That sheriff didn't do enough to protect the public and make sure there was an adequate supply of adult use cannabis. That sheriff interferes with commerce that's a violation of 18 USC 1951. You're talking about a non-lethal plant, that was only outlawed by congress, due to fear mongering from William Randolph, to save the cotton industry, in the early 20th century. It should have never been illegal, in the first place. With that being said. The legality should be and clearly is irrelevant here. Providing a service is a service, regardless of its legality. Murder is murder, robbery is still robbery, property is still property and self defense is still self defense. You don't get to just say it's somehow murder in the eyes of the law, just because you don't like drug dealers. Selling drugs in itself, is not a violent crime, even if it may attract other violent crime. At a certain point, you're just victim blaming. It's people like you, that don't allow for any real rehabilitation for felons. Sure, most just return and continue to commit more crime. But after serving over 5 years, being home 7, which makes me the exception to the rule, over a similar scenario. It's ridiculous that I'm still considered a second class citizen, with no rights to defend his own life with a firearm, just because some idiot tried to rob me for weed, when I was 18 and found out. Legality of firearms, doesn't cut off access to firearms. And I'm sure, even you're aware of this.
