Queen Mary 2's Mid Atlantic Mercy Mission

In September 2013, Queen Mary 2 came to the aid of Canadian solo rower, Mylene Paquette who had capsized in the mid-Atlantic, 83 days into her 130-day journey from Halifax to Lorient in France. On 15 December 2013, Mylene met Captain Kevin Oprey for the first time since their rendezvous. This is the story of what happened.
