Even though Cena did main event for the title, he didn't WIN the title. Not to mention losing to Johnny Ace. I think he was also involved in the Nexus during the point, so suffice to say, Cena did not really have the best year. EDIT: Also, Cena didn't really have the highest opinion of Theory going into their match, does he legitimately feel that way about him in real life?

I remember when I was a little girl, I'll hear Shawn being called Mr. WrestleMania and thinking, why is Shawn being called Mr. WrestleMania? Undertaker is the one with the winning streak. And now hearing all these other records he's broken, really does feel like Taker truly is Mr. WrestleMania. Anyways, this long video did make for good background during tonight's gaming session. You're welcome If going by kayfabe numbers than Taker is Mr. Wrestlemania; but going by match quality it's Shawn Really, who you have as Mr. Wrestlemania is however your define what makes them so; match quality, kayfabe, business, or a combination of all of them

Undertaker vs Sting would have been a bona fide clash between the enigmas of both WWE and WCW but due to unforeseen circumstances like Sting’s unwillingness to sign with WWE at the time, injuries and creative tomfoolery, that big time match never materialised.

Between the 2 I would go with Undertaker for his overlong longevity at the event But can't deny Hogan's place there, especially in the 1st decade of the event

I always loved that diesel vs undertaker match at mania 12 no one really mentions that match when bringing up takers mania streak with some of the good matches it's a really good match for two big guys.

A lot of people say that Kevin only had good matches against Shawn & Bret But that's not the case at all; see the match he had with Taker at WM 12 & the match with Razor at Summerslam 94

I’ve always felt the original plan for John Cena at WrestleMania 34 was for him to have a match against Samoa Joe but then Joe got injured prior to the Royal Rumble.

1. Both were gonna be apart of the series until the whole Vince stuff came out; otherwise both would have been in instead of Foley & AJ 2. Had he Main Evented at least once he would have been in big consideration for it

In terms of the build between John Cena and Triple H at WM22, while Triple H didn't have the best year going into the match, his overall career compared to Cena was superior. 3x IC Champion, former Tag Team Champion, King of the Ring, 10x World Champion, and Royal Rumble winner. And while John Cena had been champion for a year, Triple H had held the world title for multiple times for over 6 years. So based on that, I'd say making Cena the underdog in this match was the right call.

True However, unless it's a multi-man match, World Champion's should rarely ever be the underdog in a title match regardless of past kayfabe accomplishments Just my opinion on it

Should Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar have headline WWE WrestleMania 33 instead of Undertaker vs Roman Reigns since Undertaker would make his comeback and Goldberg vs Lesnar was the biggest Feud at that point and Goldberg's return at WWE at 2016 was huge.

1. A good match, but probably not that good of a finish; given Hogan was leaving, Flair wasn't gonna pin Hogan, so it would have probably been a DQ 2. I was stunned silent when it ended; will be talking more when I talk about Wrestlemania 30 3. Well I have to watch it again because I'm reviewing the show 4. Probably to give a shock moment & they probably didn't think they could do a long match at that point

Sure, Shawn Michaels has the nickname of "Mr WrestleMania" but that's just due to his match quality, but as far the "the other" Mr WrestleMania, Undertaker has to be up there, because besides the streak, he's had classic match after classic match, time and time again. As far as Brock Lesnar ending the streak, to me personally, I see it as the polarizing choice to anyone who would end it. The Boneyard Match was probably the perfect final match for Undertaker. As far as John Cena, had some great matches, but I believe he was shoved down everyone's throats after Mania 22. As far as Hulk Hogan, what more needs to be said that a lot of people hadn't? He had some great matches, he was there for first 8 WrestleManias, but his WrestleMania 3 match against Andre is obviously looked back on fondly. As far as Roman Reigns, people can make a claim that he's also Mr WrestleMania. I believe they pushed him too early when he became a singles. In my mind, having Roman Reigns aligned with Paul Heyman is probably the best move because Reigns was never that great at promo skills, but they've gotten better over time. Question for ya: what do you think of John Cena as far as a wrestler and as a overall person? Because it just seems like you don't like him, but I'm just not sure what to think. Can you please clarify?

It's however you determine how you define "Mr. Wrestlemania" In terms of match quality it's Shawn, kayfabe numbers it's Taker, in terms of drawing power you can argue Hogan, & going on who Main Evented the most it would be Reigns However there are other names in there

I would say that Roman beating Cody Rhodes at WWE WrestleMania 39 was the right decision because prior to their feud there was no heat and story and it was just the beginning of there feud but now you got both.

That's how I look at it I consider each night of Wrestlemania as its own show, meaning each night has their own Main Event Meaning Reigns will have 9 Main Events; more than anyone else in Wrestlemania history

Question for you James. IF they had the Punk-Rock-Cena triple threat at WM29, do you think Punk leaves regardless of if he won the match? Also, I find it hilariously (and kind of sadly) ironic that they tried to recreate the Savage-Liz moment between John and Nikki and not only did the engagement not last very much longer (even though people saw it coming a mile away) but they're both married to other people.

Punk's whole thing was he didn't care if he won or loss, he just wanted to be in the Main Event But I think he leaves regardless because of all the other stuff with his health

Cena buried two future talents in back to back tears. Bray Wyatt and Rusev. I truly believe that had he put them over, their career’s would’ve been better.

Bray should have been facing Taker at 30 instead of Cena As for Rusev, that would have been a huge deal; though Rusev not winning at 34 in the 4 Way did more damage than anything given how over Rusev Day was

Thing is looking at how WWE had been for the last decade of Vince McMahon’s run a lot of the newer guys losing to the veterans is on him and not the talents. There’s a possibility that Cena wanted to put Wyatt over but Vince said no. Also remember that Beck Lynch wanted to put Shayna Bazler over at WrestleMania 36 and Vince said no.
