Ito plays really high up for Japan, I could have sworn he's the LW more often than not. He's good but sometimes he can be a bit "stiff", he's not as silky as Mitoma for example. He's not the fastest also but he works hard. From this list I would say Calafiori is the one to get.

The thing is... none of these players r going to come to be a 4th choice cb and barely play. It's very unrealistic, there going to want game time. Imo keep ben davies as a lcb because he is happy to come in when he's needed and won't complain

Califiori and Murillo make the most sense. Califiori cover for both LCB and LB means we don’t have to go into the market as both with Davies 3rd choice LCB feels like the right choice

Almost all these guys are RCBs & too good for rotational players. Also, Kilman should reunite with Lopetegui at West Ham. Murillo is an interesting one. But I would prefer Strahinja Pavlović from RB Salzburg.

We've been linked with Koki Machida from Union SG all season long and he's a good realistic option.......Left footed, 6"3 and in the 98% across Europe for progressive passes amongst CB's.

Murillo is the one I would go for. Porro/Romero/VDV/Udogie/Walker-Peters/Murillo/Dragusin + a couple young players. KWP can play RB/LB. Murillo can play LCB/LB. Dragusin can play RCB/LCB.

With that said, if a club wants Son and he is happy to leave I wouldn’t be against a sale even this summer. That won’t happen just yet though, because he’s happy here, performs well and offer us a big piece of the Asian market. Son is very valuable for the club in several ways. Davies is not that.
