Solanke was excellent! His hold up play is terrific and should be utilized more often! Vicario and our CB's should look for him far more often to stretch the opponents defense. He remined me of Fernando Llorente today!! With the rabbits we have on the wings they can run rampant taking passes from Dom! Brennan Johnson is much more effective centrally. Kulusevski was solid as usual. But..................we generate NOTHING from set pieces!!! Why????? We have to be a threat from set pieces!!! Vicario still a nervous wreck on set pieces! He makes my blood pressure rise! A good win but still so much to improve!!!!

Why are you speaking about Solanke as if he has been with us for longer than 3 games? It's clear they're trying to fix some of the crucial problems, which is great. Vicario coming off the line more and really owning the box, high pressing by anticipating where the ball would go as opposed to ball-chasing and being a step behind, and Son being able to approach the goal more centrally that makes the attack stronger vs being isolated in the corner of the field. I noticed their transition up the field after intercepting the ball is a little sloppy, like they're just standing still instead of running to get open for a pass, and their ground crosses from an overlapping run is just an aimless thwack across the face of goal instead of being a pass to a particular player. Also, the opposition this game surprisingly didn't emphasize a low-block defense at all, which provided a lot more space for the offense. But if they can keep doing this for any opposition, low-blocking or not, then I do feel this team can become even stronger!
@charles_prestonАй бұрын

All the haters, listen! Sonny looked tired today and missed some 1-1 chances, but he succeeded 7 key passes and 2 assists for Johnson and maddison. Even so, why do you criticize so much even though he played a very important role on Tottenham's winning today? I am not sure exactly, but he must have been tired because he flew like 40 hours from Korea to Oman for his national team's soccer game, and he played full time and scored one goal and 2 assists under the extremely hot wearher like 40 degrees. This might have affected his performance today, but he did his best with key passes and 2 assists. That led to 3 points today. That is a fact. It showed how great player he is. Without any data or facts, you haters just don't like him because he is asian because I saw some horrible racism comments about him on live chat today and before. He once interviewed that he got to face a lot of racisms like the ones you are showing today, but he said that he didn't give a shit about them. What a smart guy. If you keep criticising him without any data or reasons, you would look foolish and make tottenham's fan leave. I honestly was not a Tottenham's fan. I supported Son only, but now l have genuenly cared about Tottenham since 2018, but today I was so shocked there were so many son haters and it would make me not support Tottenham any more. All the records he has had so far and the records he will break with Tottenham in the future will remain forever no matter how you shit about him.
