the only way to cause change is to cancel your season tickets completely because then you hit the club and Levy in the pocket "financially",. A lot of fans who have a season ticket sell their tickets on the club's ticket exchange however that makes even more money for Levy because he then resells your ticket on there (not only has he then got your money from buying the season ticket in the first place but then also gets the resale markup fee. You might say "but I must go to the games to support my club", but nothing will change then. nothing will change by protesting on the streets, protest by not buying season tickets completely. go and support another club in the lower leagues for a few seasons if you need to see live football. Also stop buying the new shirt every season. mugs, how do you think anything will change that way?!!? Why would Levy change if he's getting all you money? Why should he change if YOU keep renewing your season ticket. You're not changing either then are you.

Brian preaches like a discipline of Levy Out messiah talking about righteous protests and people “seeing the light”. Fans and people around the club have known and observed how Levy runs a football club for years. The club came before Levy and I fully understand grievances some people have with his operating of the club: tarnishing the history of the club by turning the club into a diversified brand and the home ground into a venue, increasing revenue in part by raising merchandise and ticket prices without increasing investment into the squad/wage bill, placing restrictions on season and senior concession tickets. He seems to have a knack for bad PR moves that are not in the spirit or interest of the football club and fans. Fans understandably feel that their club should reflect their interests and have every right to protest these decisions. But these moves are often the other side of the coin that has been a very beneficial ownership. Under his operation the club established itself as a Big 6 club, he grew the brand globally, built state of the art facilities and challenged for top 4, premier league and champions league titles. While he could have made some better footballing moves like adding to Poch’s squad, he had made it clear that it would be difficult after completion of the largest project in the club’s history. He also is receptive to fans demands, selling deadwood and bringing in exciting young talent from around Europe (that we wouldn’t be able to afford or attract later in their careers) and a manager who plays attacking football after the disappointing post-Poch period. In this regard Levy is responsible for our 15th position and poor play as the wholesale nature of these changes has led to injuries and a young squad yet incapable of executing Ange’s system. But the blame must be shared with Ange who should adapt his training methods and playing style to suit the squad he has largely asked for. If you find the owners you’re looking for let me know but for the time being I can’t imagine a hostile and factious crowd does much to inspire the players to success or to play for the badge. I just hope we come out the other side before all our young players decide to set sail for nicer shores.

@richardedwards14115 сағат бұрын
@@thornton Are you saying Paratici has better hits than most other directors of football including Lange? I understand Paratici has status in the game and his signings can be seen as savvy in that they were young and unwanted players (mostly) from Italy where he has "insider knowledge". But they can also be seen as lazy and bargain bin. They may have suited a defensive Italian style of football better. Deki is good on the ball and has been praised for his mentality and application this season but he has been mostly hit and miss since signing, yet to find his place on the pitch and deficient in too many areas (shooting, crossing). Bentancur is too injury prone, rash in challenges, lacking a spirit to his game as well as speed, fitness and strength in midfield. Sarr is still an incomplete player. Udogie has performed very well defensively but lacks shooting and crossing ability as a wing/fullback. Meanwhile they bemoan Lange who has brought in young talent from all around the world to build a team that suits the manager.

Its obviously clear that Porro is not a defender, his lack of awareness is comical, he backs off and allows players the space to run in the box and for every one good cross he put in for Richi today, there are loads of times he messes up our attack with very poor quality, he made space for himself and went for the most ridiculous angle shot i have ever seen. Spence isn't perfect by a long shot, but at least he does the basics of defending most of the time, Porro is killing us, and i don't buy the excuse he is being overplayed, he just isnt good at all. Then there is Papa Mata Sarr, what an awful passer this kid is. If Ange has any sense, he would bin these 2 in a heartbeat.

Francis gross ardiles pleat ramos are evidence that if you keep changing managers you are just a likely to get a dud as a winner The only thing that has illuminated the levy tenure is redknapp & bale and kane & poch. He sacked redknapp because of a personal argument and starved poch of transfer funds and milked kanes goals to build the stadium without ever really trying to build a title winning team. Player like Campbell, bale and kane come along every 5 to 10 years for a team like Tottenham but the current board never take the opportunity to build a title winning team around them. Kane is gone with no clue of when the next one is coming. Manager options are spent. And thus we are back to the dark ages. Time to give different owners a go. The most honorable thing levy could do now is sell up to owners who want silverware.

When did we get so many clueless and delusional fans? I’m guessing they jumped on the Kane Train over the past 10yrs. And only know life under Levy. So for these guys it’s normal to get a new manager every 1 or 2 seasons. It’s normal not to build a squad. Normal not to challenge. Normal to buy cheap alternatives to the players we need. Normal not to pay competitive wages and attract top players. For those older fans out there - these are the ones that see Levy has ruined our club. And will continue to do so until he sells up and leaves. Until that day, we will continue this cycle of hiring & firing. Achieving nothing and blaming the manager, who never receives backing. Stop quoting the £350m spent! That’s peanuts these days! Top teams will spend that on 2-3 players. Not a full squad of 11! We got ripped off with prices we’ve paid for average players and been stuck with deadwood for many years. The club has been falling into disrepair for years!
