Surrounded by 4 volcanoes, also known as the white city, is Arequipa, Peru's second largest city.
I try some of Arequipa's most traditional dishes, along with trying to blend in with the locals... Personally I think I did a great job 🤣

Hello Jason, Earthquakes are very common nowadays in Peru. The frecuency is skyrocketing so far . . I used to feel one of them after 2 or 4 years. Now is coming every 1 to 3 montths

The good news is that Peru has been building buildings and houses earthquake resistant since 1960. The last years regulations are even better. We can see how a moderate 7.8 earthquake in Ecuador during 2016 destroyed a lot of modern buildings in Bahia de Caraquez, while a similar earthquake in Chachapoyas, Peru during 2021 destroyed very old mud-brick houses. Similar magnitude earthquakes could cause different very destruction depending on where we are living in South America

For a day trip in Peru. It could be cheaper , faster and easier , just to rent the service of a taxi driver + car included. Just asking something like . . . Cuanto cobras por pasearme por la Ciudad por hora ? How much do you charge per hour for driving around the city ?
