Maybe the reason Fredbear has two version of himself is because of crying child. As we all know, the crying child finds the animatronics to be scary, specifically the original ones, making them look more nightmare-ish in his head while in his coma. The animatronics in 1985 may have influenced his appearance (and vise versa; due to the addition of five fingers) due to the advertising and collaboration shown in Fnaf 4's minigame, hence the top row of teeth in his imaginative image Edit: let me summarize: Fnaf 4's withered animatronics are from 1985 "Classic" Fredbear is a made up image made by crying child Fredbear and the Withered Animatronics are possibly both related (lore wise) The books have given us very crucial information. I have a theory about crying child being a witness to the 1985 murders and how it is the original cause of his fear of the original animatronics, but that contradicts the timeline. I also have a theory on William, he kills Henry's daughter because he wanted revenge; Henry forbidden William from coming to Jr.s (Fnaf 2, I guess) which was the original place the crying child was gonna have his birthday party, so he moved it to the other location, Fredbear's. And we all know what happens from there on. What's sad is that you can see "Happy Birthday" signs hung up in Fnaf 2 before William was told not to come to the location. Let's assume it was for little Mikey and not for some other kid
