Great Advice. Make sure all claps and safety bars are tight and secure. I have a dear friend who lost an article of diamond jewelry once she came out of the water and back onto the Beach. It was never found. Also, for those of us who wear sterling, no pool water or sun tan lotion. It may turn it yellow or darken it.

From what my jeweler told me was no unless it’s platinum, gold will become brittle with bleach and can lose diamonds or the set fingers. As for ocean water you can but good luck if falls off.

I’ve been wearing a 14K chain from Jacoje to the beach and pool for the last 3 years and it still looks brand new.

I know chlorine isn't good for certain alloys, but in a pool it's so diluted, I imagine it would only affect much lower purity metals. Plus I always shower after the pool so it's not like I'm soaking my gold in chlorine.

@@TautologyTechSystems Ive got a 1.5mm franco and a 1.5mm rope, along with a 4 mm marner bracelet. No issues with any and I wear them all in the pool and ocean.
